Patch has pretty much imploded, but at one point they were careening towards profitability with hundreds of sites. What went wrong? Providing information to local communities is a great thing, but Patch was based on the newspaper and TV business model, which does not work in the digital space. So, who will take their place? Nirav will be speaking at our Local Online Advertising Conference, March 3-4, in NY. For more information on #LOAC2014: www.borrellassociates.com/loac2014
