  1. 1. From James, chapter 3... Do you want to be counted wise, to build a reputation for wisdom? Here’s what you do: Live well, live wisely, live humbly. It’s the way you live, not the way you talk, that counts.
  2. 2. Hope In The NightWhen your dreams don’t come true and you don’t know what to do wondering how life could be so cruel I have felt the pain like you and I have made it through by holding on to Someone who wants to hold you too
  3. 3. Hope In The Night ... There is hope in the nightwhen the darkness hides the day Hope for your heart when the fears hide your faith Listen to the One who says everything will be all right Don’t give up, There is hope in the night.
  4. 4. Hope In The Night ... There are tears in your eyes from all the pain insideYou can’t see the rainbow through the rain the sun will shine again ~ Your broken heart He’ll mend Joy is in the morning so just hang on ‘til then

  6. 6. Biblically speaking, success is... the progressive realization of all that you and I were designed by God to be and to do. Only a life rooted in real and lasting values is truly successful.
  7. 7. The teaching of the wise is a fountain of life, turning a man from the snares of life.
  8. 8. Teach me to do your will, for you are my God; may your good Spirit lead me on level ground.
  9. 9. Are you building a house? By wisdom a house is built, and through understanding it is established; through knowledge its rooms are filled with rare and beautiful treasures Proverbs 24:3
  10. 10. Wisdom in life‘s transitionsWisdom has to do with gaining an understanding ofhow God uses the natural and inevitable transitions of life to mature us and to develop within us a growing dependency on Him for all we need. This is a key element in spiritual maturity

The key Biblical principle running through all of this is this... What you and I believe down deep inside aboutGod and His purposes for our lives has thepower to transform our lives from one of trialand heaviness and difficulty to one of joy andfocused direction into and through all of life’sexperiences and transitions, and finally deathitself.
  12. 12. A conviction is a valued belief that can be  translated into behavior Life is inherently of great value Marriage is for keeps A universal truth: We always reap what we sow God’s grace and love covers all. We must be born again
