This will result in removing of the user without any further notice at 4th warning.  Avoid giving any public comments, which may hurt someone.  Avoid any technical discussion privately (Use group id for all technical discussions, as others will also know about the discussion and someone will answer to your query fast). 4
  5. 5. NSC Moderators  No illegal words or activities should be taken place within the club (Either by mail or by direct).  Use group mail to send any clarifications regarding your subject/project/any college related (the facilities related)/personal issues.  Avoid using group mails to post any forward message like pictures/cine field related articles/discussions and no political discussions/ political news (unless it doesn’t harm any individual political parties).  For any escalations or suggestions related to this club please mail to nscmoderator@gmail.com / call us @ +91-99949 22256 (Karthik)/ +91-98409 00742 (Jagan)  Each member will be reviewed by moderators and depending upon their skills and projects needs team will be designed by moderators. Note: Above rules are subject to change and new rules to be added based on demand/need. Merits in joining this club (for students)  Improvement in o Communication skills o Technical skills o Mailing skills o Team building skills and o Client handling skills  A single student will complete at least 4 industrial projects within his/her graduation, hence he/she will be having a great confidence in their final year project that he/she can do by their own as they will be possessing enough expertise through this club.  Practical understanding of software life cycle.  During their campus interviews they will be 200% confident in their approaches.  There are chances that if any alumni’s can refer/recruit them directly if they feel some students are really strong in technical it may also happen.  They will try to use many industrial terms during their college days itself. 5
  6. 6. NSC Moderators  All the mini projects after completion will be certified by the Club members (Considering their Exp in industries) which can be a write up in their resumes.  You may not be wasting your study hours where college will be allocating a special hour for you to work on this. You can also work from home/college or wherever you need. Do’s and Don’ts Do’s  Approach Mr.Sakthivel(placement coordinator staff) / Mr.Gopal (Student placement Coordinator) to join in this club.  Check your mail’s regularly upon any new projects arrival / new technical challenges.  If your mail id is not included in NSC group mail please escalate to nscmoderator@gmail.com.  Should allocate time to work on projects as there will not be any hours allocated separately in your academic calendar (during college working hours).  Depending on the project load students should be able to come during weekends / your summer holidays to gain more and improve your careers.  Feel free to come up with suggestions for improvements. Don’ts  Merge your studies with this club.  Argue with moderators on any issues  Ask for any OD to work on these club activities.  Address anyone with relationship instead use professional terms. Shouldn’t (for students) 1. Lose your studies at any cost 2. Blame on the club for your low performance in studies. FAQ 1. I am a student of nandha, what should I need to do to join in this club? 6
  7. 7. NSC Moderators Hello, Thanks for your interest towards this club, please talk to student/staff placement coordinator and enroll your name to them. You will be enrolled in our club as soon as we receive a mail from them. 2. I am a final year student; can you guide me thru this club? Yes, we are here to guide you in proper channel. We could guide you in either way like you can come up with your own project or else you can ask for some titles from moderators to do. We have many experience alumni’s in our group and they will direct you in any of your technical difficulties. 3. I have my own computer in my home can I work in that for this club? Yes, work from home is much not restricted in our club. It’s not mandatory for you to spend time in college machine. But at the same time if you work as a team in college then you can gain your knowledge and improve your team skills as well. So we would like to recommend you to spend at least 80% of your effort with your team (we mean in college). 4. My project has been approved by moderators of club, but they have allocated me in different team. I would like to join in another team where I have my friends, what should I need to do? Hello, your request will be considered. Usually moderators will be forming the team depending upon the skills and project needs which we have received from you. We shall talk to your friends’ team so that if anyone can swap or else we will try to assign you some modules in that project itself. 5. I am doing my ECE/EEE/Mech, how I can get benefited thru this club? Hello, industry is always wide open for any one. The only industry which holds various branch students is IT industry. Currently we believe ECE students can club with few CSE/IT students and can do few projects where some hardware interface is needed. We are planning to expand this club whereas EEE/Mech related projects can also be clubbed. We are working towards it. We will keep you updated be in touch. 6. We are club members by now, we have our own projects can you guide us? Also we are around 5 people already and would like to work within us. Please advice. Hello, we are really happy that you have come up with your idea and explored it. Please elaborate your project to us such that we can guide you more. If you have 7
  8. 8. NSC Moderators any documentation for your projects please share with us. It is really great that you have formed team by yourself. Team effort always wins. Hence please list out their name of your team members so that we can keep a track with your team and guide you for any new challenges which you/ your team may face. 7. We saw the rules of the club and we have few doubts, we would also like to suggest few rules to be added. Will it be entertained or accepted? Hello, we are glad in clearing any of your queries. You may contact thru mail or by phone to us as per the contact list below. The rules which we specify are subject to change as per any suggestion from you people.
