Social Networking Overview

Ever wondered why some social networking sites thrive while others languish?

Good Medium makes an attempt to highlight some of the key attributes that successful social networking sites have embraced.

The 'social object' concepts have been developed and spoken to at large lately. This deck illustrates the concepts developed by thought leaders in the space.

We see a lot of opportunity in the space for enterprises to embrace similar concepts in collaborative portals like Intranets, Extranets, Agent portals etc.

In fact, Gartner recently published their thoughts on the use of social network in corporate space.

You can read additional details in the Gartner paper - http://www.gartner.com/it/page.jsp?id=1293114
