Meetings, inspection &consultative process for OH&S issues Staff meetings held weekly - raise issues Supervisor - provides info, demonstrates safety procedures/practices Health & Safety Committees - brings managers & workers together to discuss & settle health & safety issues Employee’s Safety Rep (ESR) - represents you & your co-workers, encourages safe working practices, informs of any health issues

Meetings, inspection &consultative process for OH&S issues Step 1 - Discuss problem - verbally or in writing Step 2 - If can’t be fixed - raise problem with senior manager or take to OHS committee Step 3 - Still no resolution? - Seek advise from an authorised inspector from Workplace Standards Tasmania

Procedure of emergencies- General Don’t Panic Follow instructions of Building and Area Wardens Exit via nearest & safest route to designated assembly area Remain until instructed to leave by a Warden or Fire & Rescue Services Personnel Do not reenter the building until informed that it is safe to do so
