Demonstration:QR Code=quick responseGo to the qurify.com website.Cut and paste the web address you would like to qurify into the blue box.Download, copy, or save the QR image.Use my GLE website/wikispaces: http://learningstrategiesgle.wikispaces.com/ To activate a QR code, download an app like ScanLife and hold your camera phone up to the image. The image will load and your phone will take you to the website. Demonstrate using my iPhone. This is a valuable tool for students who have difficulty typing in long web addresses. Connection to GLE:Great for new ppts. or websites you want your kids to visit. In our research skills unit, this would be the perfect opportunity to put up QR codes of the various websites you want them to use on the SMARTboard. This serves as a link as well, so even paste them on digital documents in the network’s hand-out folder so kids don’t have to type out the link or hyperlink, rather they can click the code and go!I use QR codes for my various wikispaces so students can easily access the class files in class or at home.
