Isagenix—A Responsible Company As I reminisce about Isagenix’s past and look to the future, I feel a great sense of pride that we are building such a responsible company. • A company responsible to the people it serves and supports • A company responsible for changing the lives of hundreds of thousands—and soon to be millions • A company responsible for giving people back their health and vitality • A company responsible for allowing people the freedom to weigh what they want to weigh • A company responsible for helping families enjoy financial freedom—even helping some to become millionaires • A company responsible for giving hope and opportunity to abused children through its contributions to Childhelp® • A company responsible for supporting teamwork and personal development Isagenix is, indeed, becoming something special, and it is all of you who are responsible. Your partner in success, Jim Coover President and CEO Turn Passion into Action As I reflect back on our amazing 2007 “Changing Lives” Celebration, I witnessed more than 3,000 Isagenix Associates on fire about our products, wealth-building plan and vision. The stories are coming in about our new products. Everyone loves them! Now is the time to take that passionate energy and take massive action. Go back to all your team members and set goals with them. Ask your team: Who will be an Ex- ecutive? Who will go to 1-Star Golden Circle? Who will take the leap to 2-Star, 3-Star, 4-Star? Spend time and develop a game plan. How many Suc- { cess from Home magazines will you share this week? How many Chicken Soup for the Healthy Soul samplers will you share? And how many of our brochures, newsletters, CDs and other sales tools will you hand out? Create urgency when you follow up. Your enthusiasm will become infectious, and your team will grow by leaps and bounds. We have something so special with Isagenix. We need We have something so special with Isagenix. 14. 14. IsaBody Challenge Finalists Wow Attendees Attendees at Celebration 2007 were awestruck as 25 IsaBody Challenge finalists, chosen from more than 2,200 participants, took center stage. Each finalist’s “before” and “after” pictures were nothing short of stunning. Their hard work was rewarded with more than $100,000 in cash prizes—only add- ing to the transformation of their lives. To qualify for the contest, each participant had to register, use Isagenix products, submit “before” and “after” photos, and write a 250- to 500-word essay about their Isagenix experience. “To all who participated in this Challenge, thank you for the smiles you gave us, and for the lumps in our throats as we saw your pictures and read your incredible stories,” said Director of Marketing Joel Bikman just before announcing the winners. “The idea behind the IsaBody Challenge grew out of Kathy’s and my com- mitment to create an opportunity so that everybody could have an even greater incentive to set new goals to follow an Isagenix program,” said Presi- dent and CEO Jim Coover. 18. 18. Don Nooner Nets More Donations for CHILDHELP ® Isagenix million-dollar earner Don Nooner pumped up the Celebra- tion crowd as he put on a free throw shoot- ing extravaganza during the Childhelp Basketball Fundraiser Challenge prior to Monday’s gen- eral session. In the end, this 69-year-old man ac- complished an incred- ible feat: making 421 out of 561 free throws in 30 minutes—far surpassing his original goal of 150. “I feel great!” Don exclaimed after completing his last basket. “I can’t wait to beat my accomplishment next year.” Former Harlem Glo- betrotter Bobby Hunter and two Associate volunteers helped keep Don stocked with basketballs during the event. More important than sinking baskets was Don’s pledge to donate $5 for every shot made and $10 for every miss. After all was said and done, his personal contribution amounted to more than $3,500. Many Associates also pledged $5 for every basket he made. A lifetime fan of basketball, Don said his height prevented him from competitively playing basketball while in school. However, his skill and persistence eventually landed him a spot on the Senior Olympic team where he won a medal his first year. Although his days of com- peting are now over, he still practices shooting hoops on a daily basis, which prepared him for the basketball challenge. “Making baskets is just like building an Isagenix business,” says Don. “Find out how it works, then just do it over and over again. One basket at a time. And focus… don’t be distracted from what’s around you—just keep your eye on the ball.” Millionaire Don Nooner doubles as superstar as he sinks hoops to raise money for Childhelp. “I’m just overwhelmed with the energy. I felt that there was a lot of love talked about and I think that’s what the products are about: changing people’s lives by loving them enough to teach them about the freedom from obesity and how to increase their wealth. You need to do whatever it takes to get here next year. We jumped over every hurdle to be here, and I’m glad that we did.” Camille Venezia, Las Vegas, Nev. 16 Se p T ember / O C TO ber 2007 ISAnews
  19. 19. Al Jarreau brings perfect harmony to the stage while raising money at the Childhelp Benefit Concert. More Than $200,000 Raised for Childhelp ® F or the love of a child, Isagenix and its Associates opened up their hearts and raised more than $200,000 at Celebration 2007 for Childhelp, a non-profit organization dedicated to the treament and prevention of child abuse. Between Don Nooner’s basketball free throw fundraiser (see story opposite page), the Childhelp con- cert and the silent auction, Isagenix Associates pledged or donated $58,000. Jimmy Smith, Chairman of the Childhelp concert, added another $15,000. To top it off, Isagenix executives contributed an additional $135,000. “What an amazing event!” said Childhelp Vice President of Corporate & Chapter Relations Sarah Ro- driguez. “The entire Childhelp family is so thrilled with the results and enthusiasm generated from the event. We are so thankful.” The concert, which took place after the concluding Celebration 2007 session Aug. 7, featured seven- time Grammy Award winner and musical great Al Jarreau. Isagenix’s affiliation with Childhelp began in June 2005. Over the years Isagenix’s founders and top executives have made regular generous contributions. In addition, 50 cents from the sale of each IsaKids Essentials (see Page 18) will be donated to Childhelp. In January 2006, Isagenix solidified its mission to help children by allowing Isagenix Associates to contribute via their monthly Autoship orders and employees the ability to donate directly from their paychecks. “The love was unbelievable.
