    • In the early 40s Enzo Ferrari decided to create a school to train his staff.
    • In the early 60s Enzo Ferrari built a larger private school, because young people who wanted to attend this specialized course were constantly increasing.

    • 1965 the Drake tried to convert it into a public school and later it was named
    • Ipsia A. Ferrari
  • 4. Relationship in the territory
    • School maintained strong ties with Ferrari itself:
      • experience of teaching practice in Ferrari offered to students of the institute;
      • donations of materials;
      • a test room engine;
      • a mechatronics laboratory.
    • School maintained strong ties with all the small-medium-large enterprises of the “Motor Valley” (Modena province):
      • experience of teaching practice;
      • donations of materials.
  • 5. Renewable Energy
    • From early 80s the school is active in research activities and experimentations in mobility and zero emission vehicles with renewable energies.
    • The school developed some prototypes for differents meetings, like:
    • Shell Eco – Marathon
    • World Solar Cycle Challenge
    • Plan Levante
    • TranseuropeanMotor Show

    • Check and repair the equipments’ compliance in order to technical specifications, safety of people and environmental protection
    • Observe ergonomics, hygiene and safety principles
    • Organize and take action in the activities for the disposal of waste and residual substances
    • Use the skills of multidisciplinary technological, economic and organizational processes
    • Find and interpret technical documentation, act with specific regulations, taking self-responsibility
    • Signal malfunctions, operate in the management of services, including examining the costs and cost effectiveness of interventions

  • 11. On 15th December 2010 , Regione Emilia Romagna and Provincia of Modena School Board’s states IPSIA A. FERRARI can offer to the family a new Technical sector: Transportation and Logistics Means of transports’ construction and articulation, beginning next year (2011/12).

    • Following the procedures of the quality system
