It’s About Jesus! You search the Scriptures because you think they give you eternal life. But the Scriptures point to me! John 5:39 (NLT)

It’s About Jesus! Then Jesus said to them, “You foolish people! You find it so hard to believe all that the prophets wrote in the Scriptures. Wasn’t it clearly predicted that the Messiah would have to suffer all these things before entering his glory?” Then Jesus took them through the writings of Moses and all the prophets, explaining from all the Scriptures the things concerning himself. It’s About Jesus! “ But when the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, then he will sit upon his glorious throne. All the nations will be gathered in his presence, and he will separate the people as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. Importance of the Church God’s purpose in all this was to use the church to display his wisdom in its rich variety to all the unseen rulers and authorities in the heavenly places. This was his eternal plan, which he carried out through Christ Jesus our Lord. Ephesians 3:10-11 (NLT)

Summary of our Mission Like Jesus we are to go out in the power of the Holy Spirit and proclaim the gospel and make disciples of all those who respond to the gospel.

The Goal 10 your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven… 33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Matthew 6:10, 33 (NIV)

The Goal … which he exerted in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms, far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every title that can be given, not only in the present age but also in the one to come. And God placed all things under his feet and appointed him to be head over everything for the church, Ephesians 1:20-22 (NIV)

Summary of our Goal Our goal is to bring the reign and rule of God over all aspects of His creation.

The Purpose Glory to him in the church and in Christ Jesus through all generations forever and ever! Amen. Ephesians 3:21 ... as God’s grace reaches more and more people, there will be great thanksgiving, and God will receive more and more glory. 2 Corinthians 4:15

Summary of our Purpose The ultimate purpose of all we do is to bring God glory. When God is glorified people worship Him.
