  • Speak your t r ut h quiet ly and clear ly, and list en t o ot her s, even t o t he dull and ignor ant ; t hey t oo have t heir st or y.
  • Avoid loud and aggr essive per sons; t hey ar e vexat ious t o t he spir it .
  • If you compare yourself with others, you may become vain or bitter, f or always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself .
  • Enj oy your achievement s as well as your plans.
  • Keep int er est ed in your own car eer however humble; it is a r eal possession in t he changing f or t unes of t ime.
  • Exer cise caut ion in your business af f air s, f or t he wor ld is f ull of t r icker y.
  • But let t his not blind you t o what vir t ue t her e is; many per sons st r ive f or high ideals, and ever ywher e lif e is f ull of her oism.
