  • 1. There are few things that are important for a fisherman toown but in catfishing the snap swivel is one of them. Thisitem is one that can really help to keep a line straight and keep it from twisting or snagging. It might be surprisingwhen you learn it is easier and faster to change hooks and lures.
  • 2. It is really easy for you to follow the six steps that are necessary to use this. Step one is to put your poletogether. When it is together you will want to add a reel, paying special attention to make sure that it has monofilament line on it.
  • 3. The second step is one that is really simple and you startby opening the bail on your spinning reel. You will want topull out the line and then actually use the guides on your rod to pull it through. You want to do this until the line goes past the rods end.
  • 4. The third step will require that you tie the line to the swivels round end. You will want to use an improvedcinch knot when you do this. One you are finished it is a good idea to cut off any of the excess line.
  • 5. The clasp end has to be opened by using your fingers tosqueeze the wire. You follow that by using the groove thatis in the metal to guide the wire through. The common use for the grooves is to trap wire.
  • 6. The loose end of the wire needs to be slid through the lure or the hook. This is of course the lure or hook that you want to use. Finally you will need to close the wire that is part of the swivel. Then you will be ready to use the pole as soon as you make sure that the groove will hold the wire in place.
  • 7. It really is that easy for you to get ready with your fishingsnap swivel. Best of all there is not going to be any reasonthat you would not be able to do this in a small amount of time. You will find that this is a great way to enjoy things.
