- Chinese dragons take part in the Chinese New Year festival by doing the dragon dance. People sing and dance as the dragon is dancing.
- This is the year of the dragon.
Chinese Dragons
- On Chinese New Year people float lanterns in the air
- They sometimes give them to people as a present or if someone's ill.
Chinese New Year
- For luck Chinese people give their children little envelopes with money in them.
- They also leave their windows and doors open for the old year to pass on and welcome in the New Year.
