    • IMAGES OUT OF THE ORDINARYABOUT BLUEBELLSHYACINTHOIDES NON-SCRIPTA, MORE COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE BLUEBELL, FLOWERS IN APRIL AND MAY.IN ENGLAND, IT IS A PROTECTED SPECIES AND LANDOWNERS ARE PROHIBITED FROM REMOVING WILDBLUEBELLS FROM THEIR LAND. IN FACT, SINCE 1998, ANY TRADE IN WILD BLUEBELLS IS CONSIDERED ACRIMINAL OFFENCE. ANGMERING PARK, A LARGE ESTATE OWNED BY THE DUKE OF NORFOLK’S FAMILY INWEST SUSSEX, IS RENOWNED FOR ITS BLUEBELLS WHICH FORM A BLUE CARPET AMONGST THE WOODLANDTREES. THIS YEAR’S DISPLAY TOOK A LITTLE SEEKING OUT, BUT WAS DEFINITELY WORTH THE EFFORT. NOTFAR FROM ANGMERING PARK, I ALSO FOUND SOME WILD BLUEBELLS AT BAILLIFSCOURT IN CLIMPING.WHEN PHOTOGRAPHING LOTS OF THE SAME FLOWERS, THE CREATIVE CHALLENGE IS TO KEEP FINDINGDIFFERENT WAYS OF SHOOTING THEM. IT’S ALSO ABOUT FINDING GREAT LIGHT. I HOPE YOU LIKE WHAT I’VEDONE WITH THESE IMAGES!INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY NOTICETHE IMAGES CONTAINED IN THIS PRESENTATION WERE CREATED BY GARY MARLOWE AND, WHILST BEINGAVAILABLE FOR VIEWING ON SLIDESHARE, THEY REMAIN THE INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY OF GARY MARLOWE.© GARY MARLOWE | 2011 gary marlowe
