About I am the editor of the Knowledge Bridge project and a digital strategist at the Media Development Loan Fund. I have been a multi-platform, digital journalist since 1996. In 1998, I became the first online journalist for the BBC outside of the UK. In 2005, I moved to London to write a blogging strategy for BBC News. I was on the launch team of the interactive radio programme, World Have Your Say at the BBC World Service. In 2006, I joined The Guardian as their first blogs editor in 2006, and from 2009 to 2010 I was their Digital Research Editor. In 2010, I took a buyout from The Guardian to pursue my own digital journalism projects.
