    • In Summary• Fossil Plants will remain for several decades, e.g. in emerging markets.• CCS, for both coal and gas, is absolutely vital to reach 450 ppm target, in an economically sustainable way;• Alstom developed promising, tested and viable CCS technologies, ready for demonstration & deployment.• TCM Mongstad plant is an important step in the CAP roadmap, ready for demos which will introduce commercial technologies.• Political willingness and Policy instruments similar to Renewables (e.g. Feed-In Tariffs, priority of dispatch) are the next steps needed to support demonstration and kick-start commercial phase.
