  • Surely many of these anticipations will come true, but I would like to know your views on the future of public education, if we consider that universities offer resistance to new pedagogies as elearningg or m-elearning

  • I feel like I wake upo in the past all the time. It is evident that the maze of technology has begun to shrink in its availability to very few who will have the ability to be at the right place at the right time in the right nation with the right resources and the correct training, but also... the perfect attitude to do something with it. This will determine what in the world will it ever become in benefit of who, what, where, a specific why and a whose and a how...

  • I did find this fascinating! I can see how previous commenters found it perhaps a tad scatter shot but then again I have been following the increasing popularity of MOOCs (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Massive_open_online_course) with a mixture of excitement and apprehension, more than ever so after viewing this debate - http://iai.tv/video/the-end-of-the-university , so I did have some background to what Gerd is saying there. There are some seriously poignant and terrifying thoughts there - in particular with regards to the digital divide and the increasing automation of the world, creating a less, not more, equal society in my mind.
