  • A way to respond to what is becoming a more and more serious issue but also so much more!
  • Only a couple; the focus of this workshop is Fairtrade!
  • Background on the project: LAHC members decided to implement a regional project involving if possible all LAHC schools. The idea is that all schools act in a co-ordinated way to maximise the impact of their actions across the continent. Fairtrade was chosen as a topic for the project because there is a lot of room for achievement. Perhaps exemplify with UK illustration.

    5. 5. Grow food for consumption within school<br />…..and also take the opportunity to develop an understanding of organic farming<br />
    6. 6. Control the food sold in kiosks and canteen<br />…..also take the opportunity to educate parents about healthy diets and get their support<br />
    7. 7. Design menus that reduce food miles<br />…take the opportunity to develop an understanding of the globalised food industry<br />
