The biggest problem women (or men) have
for a weight loss tactic is a lack of
motivation. When we look at fine-looking
celebrities, models or friends, we dream
about looking as good as they do or even
better. But the motivation to look fabulous
seems to disappear pretty fast as we tend to go back to our old lifestyle and get
too lazy to exercise or whatever technique we planned to lose weight. So what
are the ways to motivate yourself to loose weight when you feel lazy?
First, Cut out photos of your favorite celebrity from fashion or Hollywood gossip
magazines and put on your door way. In that way, you can’t avoid the picture of
the person you would like to look like and give yourself a reminder every time you
see it.
Second, Get a membership at a gym, but, do NOT look for a cheap or
promotional deal.
Think about it. Let’s say you got a great deal paying $20 per month for a gym
membership, one which you feel cheap enough that the money you paid doesn’t
feel that its worth the effort to attend on a regular basis. Get the idea? It is more
of a psychology thing that works in our brain that if we pay more, we need to get
more value from it.
Another way to motivate yourself to lose weight includes effort in looking for a
mentor or person who has been there before. Listen to what they have to say
about weight loss or tips for at-home exercise, or anything that would help you
get it motivated and can keep you motivated. There are numerous online
communities and forums out there dealing with their own weight loss secrets. In
extreme cases, people go for a weight loss surgery for a quick result, but as long
as you keep your eating habits and don’t change yourself, there is a higher
chance that you will go back to where you were before.
Weight loss requires a firm determination – the only way to do this is to keep
motivating yourself until you become the person you have been always wanted to
look like.
