  • JCU’s MBA – key things to know
    • Master of Business Administration:
    • Duration: 1.5 years full time; or 1 year full time intensive; or up to 6 years part time.
    • Mode: On campus, full or part time
    • Subjects: 12 subjects to complete, some credits may be available from previous postgraduate study
    • Workload: Plan average10 hours per week per subject
    • Credit points: 12 subjects @ 3 credit points = 36 credit points
    • Intake: Multiple starts throughout the year
    • Campus: Townsville, Cairns, Brisbane, Singapore, (availability of majors will vary)

  • JCU MBA Financial Assistance
    • Who is eligible for FEE-HELP?
    • Domestic students in fee paying places and domestic students who are undertaking bridging study for overseas trained professionals , who are:
    • Australian citizens or holders of a permanent
    • humanitarian visa are eligible for FEE-HELP.
    • Holders of a permanent non-humanitarian visa who commenced their course of study and incurred a PELS debt prior to 1 January 2005 may be able to access FEE-HELP (contact JCU’s Student Enquiry Centre for advice).
  • JCU MBA Financial Assistance
    • Payment options for fee-paying students
    • Eligible fee paying students can either:
    • Pay some or all of their tuition fees up front; and/or
    • (2) Submit a Request for FEE-HELP assistance form (by the census date of their first unit(s) for which they want to access FEE-HELP) to obtain a loan for some or all of their tuition fees through FEE-HELP. (See section 2.1 to determine whether you are eligible for FEE-HELP assistance).
    • The Australian Government will pay the amount of the loan to the higher education provider on the student’s behalf.
