Creativity in educational context
A product or process that shows a balance of originality and value. It is a skill, an ability to make unforeseen connections and to generate new and appropriate ideas.
Creative learning is therefore any learning which involves understanding and new awareness, which focuses on thinking skills.
Innovation is the application of such a process or product in order to benefit the educational process.
Innovative teaching is the process leading to creative learning, the implementation of new methods, tools and contents which could benefit learners and their creative potential.

Israel as a multi-culture society
In 2010, Israel's population was estimated 7.6 million.
70% of the children are Jews and some 24% of the children are Muslim Arabs. The rest of the child population includes Christians Arabs, Druze and 2% who are registered as having no religion (Ben Arieh et al., 2003).

The Jews in Israel
16% of the Jewish child population includes Jews that came to Israel after January 1, 1990, mostly from the former USSR and Ethiopia.
About 10% of the Jewish children are Ultra-Orthodox
