To download installation software,
open your favorite browser and visit :

Note that I am using
Google Chrome in this tutorial

This will then appear

Click Create Account button

This will come into show

Key in the necessary information

Then click Register button

This will appear

Check your inbox
for confirmation code

Key in confirmation code

Then click Confirm button

Click Get Evernote for Windows button

Wait while it’s still
downloading

Tick I accept the terms in the
License Agreement box

Then click Install button

Wait while it’s still installing

Then click Finish button

Short cut icon
will then appear in the desktop

double click
the icon to launch Evernote app

Enter your username

Enter your password

then click Sign In button

Evernote
dashboard will come into view

NOTEBOOK
Let’s first create a

Note that you can create
2 types of Notebook

1. Local notebook
•Stored in your hard drive
•Private notebook which is
not shared with the cloud

2. Synchronized notebook
Public notebook which you are
willing to share in the cloud

To create a notebook,
Click File tab in the dashboard

Drop down menu will appear

Click New Notebook button

Create Notebook
dialogue box will appear

Key in the name of your notebook

Select what type
of notebook you will create

When all set, click OK button

all created notebooks will
appear under Notebooks column

NOTE
Now let’s create a

In creating a note, click first which
notebook you’ll use for your note

Then click New Note button

This will appear;
you are now ready to create a note

Enter title of your note

Then create the content of your note

WEBCAM NOTE
Let’s create a

To create a webcam note,
File button in the dashboard

AUDIO NOTE
Let’s create

To create an audio note,
click File tab in the dashboard

Enter Audio Note as title

Then click OK button

Audio note now
saved under Notebooks

Now click audio note button

Click arrow down button
beside New Note tab

Click New Audio Note button

Record tools will appear

Click Record button to
start recording

Click Save when done recording

1. Evernote Web Clipper

It is a simple extension
for your web browser

that makes it quick and easy
to store just about anything
you find on the web

...it highlight features like:
Web clipper
Integrated Search Engines
Related Notes

To download,
search Evernote Web Clipper
in your preferred browser

In this tutorial,
chrome browser will be used

Click Get Web Clipper for Chrome

Click Add to Chrome button

Click Add button

Wait while it’s still checking

CAPTURE A WEB CLIP
Now let’s

To open Evernote Web Clipper in your
browser, Click the Web Clipper button

click the arrow on the Save button to select
what part of the webpage you want to clip

These choices will then appear

Portion of what will be captured
will be outlined in yellow

When you are ready to save
your web clip, click Save button

This will appear once you
successfully saved your web clip

Related notes from your previous
capture will also appear

Note that everything
you clip using web clipper,
will be stored in your
Evernote account

Evernote Web Clipper
also gives you the option
of enabling Related Results

which includes results
from your Evernote account
whenever you search the Web

with some of the
most common search
engines, including Google
and Bing

To turn on Related Results,
right click on the evernote icon

This will come into view

Click Options button

This will appear in a new window

Check the Related Results box
