Greetings! Once more!

More OWBC?

Yes!

Indeed.
“Dad, you‟ve GOT to do something about Ruth! She‟s becoming a nightmare..”

“Lousey honey, we‟re all Nightmares.”

“Oh, you know what I mean! She‟s been awful to Leech, and Ri‟s just been
following suit because they‟re twins.. She might listen to you, can‟t you do
something?”

“Hm.”
„Orrible thought for a moment.
“So is Leechy still horribly upset by all of this?”
“Yes! Well.. Um. Actually no, she seems to be shrugging it off just fine now I think
about it..”

“Right. Do you think it‟s possible that this is all actually upsetting you far more than
it is her?”

“Maybe. But Ruth still shouldn‟t DO it in the first place!”

“I agree Lousey. But she‟s the youngest of you all, and the only one who‟s really
different in the niceness department. And take it from me Princess, that‟s a
combination that tends to.. Well, let‟s just put it this way – you‟ll always know just
how nice she really is.” he smiled knowingly. “She‟s just as different from me as I
was from your Grandmother.”

“So..?”

“I‟ll remind them of that sometime. Now g‟won! You don‟t want to waste your
teenage days sitting here with me! And besides, I think it‟s time that you lot all
headed off to school.”
“Have a good day at school, sweetie!”

“Thanks Mum – and it‟s double Food Tech this morning, I‟ve saved room specially!”

Bad Apple Leech is still failing to show any sign of Bad Appledom at all, and still
keeps up her special cheesey bond with her Mother.

“That‟s the spirit! Now hurry up, your sisters are already on the bus – remember to
give them the extra sandwiches you made for lunch!”
I don‟t know whether the extra grilled cheese helped or not, because Ruthless
came back in just the same low spirits as ever over the Riverblossom education
system.

“Urgh, this work is just so pointless! Who CARES how fast a seed germinates
under different weather? Pointless pointless pointless.”

“It‟s not that bad. Okay, well it is – but at least it‟s shorter than usual!” Parasite half-
heartedly smiled.

“Oh greeeeeat, so only PART of my precious time is being wasted then? When I‟m
in charge, this will be the first thing to go.

TWIN! Where are you? Come do my homework!”
But her twin, Riot, was actually quietly proving herself to be the scholar of the girls,
and was already done and outside with her father.

“It‟s impressive RiRi, really, how well you‟re doing at school. That‟s why YOU get
the first pick of Daddy Games afterwards?”

“Really? That‟s so awesome! I never get to go first at anything..”

“Well, you deserve to just as much as your sisters!”

“Really? But oh.. I probably should have asked Ruthless‟s permission to come out
here..”
“RiRi, you don’t need your sister‟s permission to do anything!” „Orrible sighed, and
gave her a big hug.

“But-”

“If I‟d waited for permission to do things I don‟t think I‟d have ever been allowed of
Mum‟s womb.”

“Ewwww, gross Daddy!”

“Sorry. Just don‟t forget to use your own mind, mmk RiRi? „Cause it‟s a good one.”
Cross that her twin hadn‟t appeared on demand, Ruthless had to struggle through
the rest of her homework on her own while Parasite flicked bits of paper waiting for
her to be done so they could do something fun instead.

“You sure this is the game you want to play?”

“Oh yes. I am Ruthless Nightmare, and I don‟t like homework, and I don‟t like
wasting time thinking about meaningless subjects, but I do like FUN!”
“OOOOOOOW
Ruthless, that isn‟t FUN! That was just.. PAIN!”

“Oh don‟t be so soft. Vent a little! Go on, you do me now. GO ON.”

“NO! I‟m going to go and find a nice hot ache-fixing bubble bath..”

“You‟re losing more respect points!” she called after the alien.
A few days later, rather more people than usual could be found at the Nightmare
House. „Orrible had called everyone he could think of to attend his Birthday Party,
and thought it was probably a good chance for his girls to get to know some of the
rest of the family better.

The rest of the family on the other hand, were less thrilled.

“I don‟t CARE, I don‟t CARE, you silly silly little girl. Stupid girls, talking about
stupid fish somehow always seems to get my back up.”

“Oh come on Uncle Occult, we‟re going to have to live together at Sim State for a
bit! Let‟s talk about something else.”

“LA ALA LAAA LAAA DON‟T REMIND ME.”
“Come on dear – you really should make an effort to get to know some of the
relatives.”

“In a minute! Hehe, you and Dad never let us do this normally! WHEEEEEEE!!”
Deciding to set an example, Liz sought out Burns – who‟s she‟d always gotten on
really well with at uni.

“I still can‟t believe you and „Orrible have FIVE, Liz! That‟s just insane..”

“You and Alec still haven‟t thought about having any then? Because it‟s been lovely
having so many kids, I‟ve got to say.”

“Oh Liz, no way! We‟re still far more interesting in just being „special naked friends‟,
if you know what I mean.”

“..Maybe you shouldn‟t talk to the girls much.”
“..but..but.. It‟s interesting! Honest!”

“Ruthless always says to call a spade a spade and a boring person a boring
person. And you REALLY are a boring person.”

“But! .. But! .. I own you!”

“No you don‟t, Daddy‟s told me I‟ve got my own mind – and I believe him. You‟re
just kinda weird.”

“ARGH!
..But fair point.”
Oh for goodness sake Occult! You used to live here, you KNOW the rules!

“Ehehehe.. NOW let‟s see who‟s not worth paying attention to!”

*headdesk*
“‟Orrible sweetie, everybody seems to have gone inside and it‟s nearly time..”

“Oh well – so what? It‟s their loss. I‟d rather it just be to two of us really.”

“Howcome?”

“Because my Liz, I think they‟d all get a little bit embarrassed with the goodbye-
adulthood-kiss I‟m about to give you.”
“Er.. „Orrible?”

“No, wait! Not yet! NOT YET! Not the tingley sparklies!

I haven‟t done my goodbye kiss yet!”
“.. Mean old time..

6pm is way too early!”
“Ooof!”

“Oow, my back! Liz, Liz, is your back all right?”

“Fine, I‟m just a bit confetti-fied.. But, I think that all went as well as we could have
hoped!”
“Yes.” her husband smiled happily. “And you still look just as beautiful as you did
the day I met you.”

“Dear, that was over 40 years ago..”

“So? Now, we missed that goodbye kiss, but what about a nice hello one..
Upstairs?”

“I couldn‟t think of a better idea.”
“OI! YOU! WOMAN!

My Mum and Dad are now stupidly old, so the parties over. And I need to go and
steal back the gnome guardian from my dim uncle.

So GO HOME already!”

“..Such a polite granddaughter ES has.”

“Who? But I don‟t care – I am Ruthless and you are in my way. SHOO!”
„Orrible and Liz promptly fell asleep after they „special‟ end to the party – so the
girls didn‟t really get to see their new grey parents until the following morning.
Parasite was quick to check that they were still up to everything they did together
when they were younger.

“And then left, and then right and put your arm – Liz! Liz, you‟re getting ahead of
me!”

“I haven‟t forgotten how to smustle just because I got old, Paris! And thank you for
your concern, but just because I need to go to the toilet more frequently doesn‟t
mean I‟m not just as fine as I was!”

“Mmmk, if you‟re sure..”
“Ooof, got me again Dad!”

“Darling, there‟s no need to be so gentle! I‟m not made of paper.”

“Yeah, but I don‟t want to hurt you by mistake.. I do work out a lot you know!”

“And you think you‟re the only one? Come on you, show me what you‟ve really
got!” „Orrible laughed.
A little while later, she was finally convinced that her Father wasn‟t about to fall
apart at any given moment.

“See? Liz and I are fine.”

“I know. I kinda knew you would be, but it‟s always good to check these things.
Because there was the one time that a kid at school said that she dropped a flower
pot on her Granddad‟s foot and then the next day his foot fell off!”

“Yes.. Quite a tale. Anyway, it‟s almost noon – and you know what that means.”
So as Paris served up the grilled cheese for the day, various Nightmares set about
fixing the multitude of broken stuff about the house in their sometimes-when-I-
remember noontime ritual.

Seriously, with the number of days I forget and noon slip by – it‟s mounting up.
Therefore anyone able to wield a wrench has to pitch in.

Er – maybe that wasn‟t such a good plan?

“Bastard! YOU TAP BASTARD!

Obey MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE.

S‟better.”
“MUM!

Oh my gosh, MUM!

Pleasedon‟tdie pleasedon‟tdie..”

Yes! „Orrible loves you, and I love „Orrible, therefore if you died he‟d be sad and
therefore so would I so PLEASE DON‟T DIE LIZ!
“Mum?”

“*coughchokesplutter* .. I think I‟ll live. This time. But..

Toilet. Now.”

Yay! But maybe Paris was right to be worried about her..
To recover from her ordeal of nearly seeing her Mother friend, Louse got dressed
and retreated to the cage of the faithful guardian‟s guardian and gave Tramp a
good cuddle.

“Could you, ya know, just start guarding my parents as well?”

“RAWK, EFFORT, RAWK.”

“So that‟s a no then?”
For reasons best known to herself, Ruthless decided she wants to go on a date.

.. And I‟m too scared of her to say no.
“Here‟s a bunch of money, make it good!”

“Or else?”

“Think about it – do you really want to know?”

“One perfectly matched date, coming right up!”

“I am glad that we understand each other.”
“Him?

HIM?!

I‟m supposed to interact with him? Oh well, it could be worse I guess. Somehow.”
“Sooooo whateverthehell your name is, what do you look for in a good date?”

“Me, oh well many things, but especially I love a good-”

“Well that‟s just great! You know what I like? A guy who can take a good kicking.”

“Huh?”

“Let‟s have a looksee..”
*BASH*

“Ow, you crazy crazy woman!”

“Meh, you‟re sturdy enough. Right, come with me.”
“So you see, whateverthehellyournameis, my so called twin, has taken to doing
things on her own. Can you imagine?” Ruthless shouted as she came in the house,
rather bemused boy in tow.

Riot quickly took that as her cue to exit.
“I mean, of all the weak-willed cowards!” she continued loudly as her twin strode
past.

“Not a coward!” Riot called back.

“See! Feeling the need to defend herself.” she went on. “FIRST sign of failure.”
“Oh but who needs HER?!” Ruthless shouted.”Who needs a twin when I‟VE GOT A
DATE.

Such a GREAT date TOO!”

The boy gasped.
“I‟m a great date?!”
“No you pillock, you‟re a complete moron. But my twin is the kind to be easily guilt
tripped, and you‟re a great head-game ploy.”
“Mind you, you‟re kind of hot for a ploy..”

“Aww, that‟s the nicest thing anyone‟s ever said to me! You‟re sweet, I like you!”

“Eh?”
“Hang on.. Something‟s gone a bit wrong here!

I‟m not sweet, you‟re not hot, I feel wrong..

ARGH, MAKE IT STOP!”

“But we‟re have a brilliant date! Why make it stop now?”

“SHUT UP, WHATEVERTHEHELLYOURNAMEIS!”
“I feel really, really weird..

TWIN! Twin, come back! I didn‟t mean it, I‟d quite like you here actually – come and
help me! TWIN! COME!

Quick, before I..

I kind of want to..”
“Well hey, I kind of feel a bit better now actually!

We are done here. You may leave now.”

“My name‟s Gary by the-”

“LEAVE. NOW.”
Later that evening, Riot felt brave enough to come downstairs again.

“So.. How was your date?”

“Oh it was amaaaaazing Twin, just amaaaaazing. We kissed and everything?”

“..You did?”

“Oh YES. And I didn‟t miss you for one second, nope not a bit, not one little bit and
– Hang on.

What is she doing?”
“Eeehheeeeeehhhheheeeheheheheeeee..”

Um, Leech?
“Eheheheeeehheeeeh..

Have made no money .. Have no aspiration points .. Will never be able to buy
house .. But there‟s doll house .. Maybe there‟s money inside.. Maybe Maybe ..”

Help?
“WHERE ARE YOU LITTLE COINS?!

Come out come out COME OUT!

Leeechy waaaants you, give Leeechy nice aspiration fix..”
“YOU FIX LEECHY!

LEECHY LEECHY FIX NOW!

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW!”
“Eheheeheeeeheeehehehehee..

No coins .. But at least dollhouse broken .. Yes .. Yes, all broken .. AND NOW THE
DOLLIES HAVE NOWHERE TO LIVE.

Oh no.. Now the dollies have nowhere to live! Oh no..

What just happened?”
“LOUSEY! I broke the dollies‟ home! I didn‟t mean to, I don‟t know what happened,
I thought there might have been money but that was silly and I don‟t know what
came over me and-”

“Shh, shh – it‟s okay! Calm down Leech, it‟s all okay! You just had a little
breakdown is all, and you don‟t need to, shh! There are lots of other ways to be
happy, not just money..”
“I‟m a Fortune Sim as well lest you forget – and I haven‟t made any money either,
or bought expensive crap! But do you see me breaking down? No! You‟ll be okay
Leechy, don‟t worry.”

“I.. Thank you Louse. You really have put it all into perspective for me.”

“I have? Already?”
Louse was a bit confused.

“Excuse me..” Leech mumbled, and pushed past her.
“Leechy? Leechy, where are you going?”

“Just need to go into the garden for a minute..
S‟alright..”

“LEECHY!”
“ARE YOU HIDING IN THE BIN LITTLE COINS?

EH? EH?

Well I‟ll find you, yes I will! I will find the coins and Leechy be happy again!

Eeheheheeheheeeeheeeee..

Heh.”
“Leech! Oh my gosh, are you alright! I just heard Louse shouting, I was kinda
worried..”

“Oh, it‟s okay. I‟m quite fine thank you.”

“Phew! Well, your twin has just sorted the bin out, so why don‟t you come inside
and have some nice grilled cheese to warm up, eh? You‟ll catch your death in your
knickers otherwise!”

“Ok. In a minute. There‟s just one thing I forgot to do..” she finished dreamily, and
turned decisively and headed back into the garden.
“You must be hiding in here monies, you MUST!

Why isn‟t this making me feel any BETTER? You MUST stop hiding from Leechy..”

(And no, I didn‟t forget to put the roof up for a picture – I forgot to build a roof in the
first place.)
“HoHO! Looks like little Miss Cheese Bum has finally lost it then, eh sis?” Ruthless
laughed gleefully, as she pulled Louse into a headlock.

“Hey – gerrof! GERROF!”

“Aww, what‟s wrong sis? Can‟t take a bit of pressure from your youngest, most
babiest sister?”
“What is WRONG with you Ruth?”

“Ruthless. And nothing! I‟m perfectly fine, thank you for asking. I can‟t say the
same for you or your twin though..”

But „Orrible was watching.
“Girls.. This isn‟t becomingly Princess behaviour, from either of you.”

“Yeah!” Ruthless hissed quietly. “Better keep a lid on it sis, or you‟ll be thrown out
of the Royal Court of Morons, along with Cheese Bum!”
“I can‟t believe you‟re still keeping this up!” Louse hissed back. “Everyone else gets
along just fine, so I don‟t see why you can‟t as well!”

“Don‟t wanna. I‟ve got better things to do.”

“See, that‟s just it! We‟re your family, you have to spend time with us and you‟re the
only one who seems to object to that! So be quiet, stay civil – and mostly just leave
me and Leech alone! It doesn‟t take much.”
While the war of ever mounting dislike raged on between Louse and Ruthless, their
twin sisters actually found themselves to be getting along rather well! As the quieter
of both the pairs, Leech and Riot were perfectly happy to spend their afternoons
peacefully in each other‟s company enjoying their own pursuits.

(When Leech wasn‟t busy having a breakdown, of course.)
And in fact, her big sister was the only one around the witness Riot maxing out her
creativity (as she‟d been Wanting to do for quite a while), and actually become the
first member of Generation Two to achieve ANYTHING ACTUALLY WORTHY OF
NOTE OR MERIT AT ALL.

“But that just makes it even more brilliant! Hang on, just let me put dear Tramp
away, he‟s made me feel quite better..”

“RAWK, waste of time, you never shut the door, RAWK!”

“Hush bird.”
“But aww, well done Ri! I‟m really proud of you, I‟m not even sure if I‟ve got any skill
points at all so I can‟t imagine maxing one like you have!”

“Thanks! I‟m really glad I managed it.”

“Oh, of course you‟re could! You‟re actually really good at everything you try it
seems..”

“That‟s what Dad always says! Speaking of, I wonder where he‟s got to today?”
“And I will not have city-dwellers like yooooou spying on me at all hours of the day
– it ain‟t proper! You back to yer skyscrapers and fast food, ya fool.”

“But I wasn‟t..what?! I was born here! You know I was, you used to jig at my
Mother!”

“And I‟ll jig at yer too if you ain‟t careful!”
“Well now that‟s a little uncalled for, don‟t you think? Jigging? I shall not have any
jigging taking place in my house, thank you very much.”

“Well who said it‟s up to yooooooou?”

“I do! I live here!”

“Arh, fair point yer bug-eyed creep.”
Okay, not on, NOT ON.

“He called me a creeeep..”

I know sweetie.

“I‟m not creepy!”

No. No, you‟re really not.

“And JIGGING! Oh, he spoke about jigging! What if any of the girls had heard?”

...
I don’t think „Orrible really needs to worry about Leech‟s thoughts turning to jigging.
Or maybe he should actively encourage it even, because anything other than this..
Would be good.

“Nasty useless flowers. Smash smash SMASH the flowers!

Riots got all skill pointy, but Leechey never has any skill pointies, no she doesn‟t..

ARE YOU HIDING THE SKILL POINTIES FLOWERS?!?”
“Clam down Leech, clam down!”

Parasite had been brought running by her sister‟s distressed screams.
“Look, c‟mon! Leave the flowers alone. Play red hands with me instead, mmk?”

“Huh? What? Um.. Okay. No wait! Actually I need to go inside for just a minute.”

“You sure you‟re okay?”

“Hmm? Oh, fine! Just fine!”
*SCRIBBLE SCRIBBLE SCRIBBLE*

“Eheheheheeeee.. Me pointies TOO!”
“Oh look Liz! Leech has decided to be artistic too!”

“She is? How lovely! I‟m so glad we have such talented girls.”

“I knew RiRi would rub off on her, they‟ve been spending so much time together
lately. I think we should just leave her too it, don‟t you?”
So they did.

“So; have I ever told you the one about “The Hot-Tub Prince?” It‟s like The Frog
Prince, only better!

For a start, it begins with a jig. But not just any jig..”
The Following Morning..

“Oooh, play SSX? +500!”

That was IT? I could have made you do that DAYS ago! I bought you crap, you
interacted with your family, you ate grilled cheese..

AAAAAARGH.

Just in time though.
For today is Leech and Louse‟s last day at home. And thankfully its a snow day so
they can really enjoy it and make sure they get everything done!

..Such as being pretty making pretty snow angels 
Of course this means it is a snow day for everyone else as well. And before Paris
was willing to let her big sisters go, she wanted to know that it was safe. For like,
Sim State flower beds and bins and such.

“Leech really will be fine Paris, honest. Once we‟re there she‟ll actually make grilled
cheese on her own without our influence, and that for a start will please her.”

“Yeah I know – but we won‟t all be there to look after her if she goes mental again.”

“She won‟t! I‟ll be there, as will all the other students she‟s bound to win over – and
you‟ll join us in no time.”
“Besides, worst come to the worst we can just tell her that if she doesn‟t stop it
then all the snowmen will cry.”

“She‟d buy that wouldn‟t she?”

“Alas, I fear she would.”
“You‟re definitely ready to go, Leechy? You know, Daddy really wouldn‟t mind if you
wanted to stay here for another day! Or two. But then you‟d be an adult – and
that‟s okay too! In fact, Daddy‟s quite happy for you to never leave at all..”

“Oh Dad, don‟t be ridiculous! I‟ll be fine. In fact this morning I‟ve done a bunch of
completely random stuff that‟s given me a few aspiration points and I‟m feeling
much better!”

“..Not even one more day?”

“What about if you and Mum come and visit us anytime, mmk?”

“Every day?”

“Don‟t push it.”
And so Louse was able to finally put in the call she‟d be longing to for days and
claim all her many scholarships before moving to college, and away from Ruthless.

Not a day too soon.
And subsequently I was allowed to give Leech her first command EVER and have
her phone a taxi in order to follow her sister. I think we were both quite thrilled at
this new „clicking on her‟ business.

Others were too.

“So it‟s just going to be you and me now, hmm Twin? Plenty of time to straighten
out this new „independent streak‟ you‟ve gotten..”

“Well, Paris is going to be here too for a while. Her birthday‟s nearer ours than
theirs!”

“..Bugger.”
Well as college growing up outfits go – these two didn‟t do awfully, buuuut.. We
could do better.

We wouldn‟t want them to scare their family members to death after all.
“Hey Uncle Occult! Remember me, your niece Louse, from the party? You refused
to talk to me ever again after 4 minutes of meeting.”

“Of course I do! How are you, you horribly self-assured optimist?”

“Never better. I would insult you back, but I‟m too nice and don‟t want my sister to
pick up any bad habits.”
“So how‟s it been? Suck here I mean, for a whole Generation.. Thank you of
course, because if you hadn‟t we wouldn‟t have been able to move in so quickly..”

“S‟alright. I‟ve been promised I can actually have a life now when I graduated – at
long last. Apparently I‟m more liked now.”

“Aww, good! But.. Have you really been okay? I mean, I watched my mother nearly
die once, if she actually had, I don‟t know how I‟d cope..”
“My Mother died? Oh yes, so I‟m just finding out. She left me inheritance? Huh,
now that‟s a turn up..

But whatever, I‟ll just use it to buy myself a nice house and wife. I‟m sure you can
buy those things. I‟ve only got a few hours until my last exam, and it actually looks
like I‟m going to graduate with top honours! Not too shabby for a Bad Apple,
whatever Mum said..”

“Mmk.. But you were a Bad Apple? I think Dad mentioned that – but so‟s my twin
sister Leech! Go say hi or something, she had a rough teendom towards the end.”
“So, you‟re „Orrid „Orrible‟s little Bad Apple then? Awesome! Want to compare
notes on how much we dislike our family? S‟ a rough deal, isn‟t it? I can remember
how awesome it feels, finally coming to uni, and having commands of your own
and being free of all the constant put downs, insults and yelling!

So – how much do you hate your Dad, or what?”
“You‟re a very strange Uncle.. Uncle Blight‟s never said anything like that – he
knows that I love my family. And Dad‟s the best!”

“Your Mum then? I bet she‟s a total hag..”

“*yawn* Nope. She‟s my best friend actually. Other than Lousey of course.”
“WHAT!? So you‟re telling me you‟ve had a completely blissful upbringing?”

“Well, yeah actually. My youngest sister‟s not so hot but that‟s not her fault. It must
be hard for her having all of us around all the time.”

“Hang on – this makes no sense! You‟re the Bad Apple! You‟re supposed to be
resentful of everything!”

“Nope, sorry.”

“..You are SO „Orrible‟s daughter.”
And she so is! Turns out three of her personality scores are just the same as her
Dad‟s. For now she‟s at uni, I can actually now find out and tell you a little bit more
about Miss Leech here.

Leech Nightmare
Capricorn – 10 10 1 6 7
Fortune/Grilled Cheese – Become Head of the SCIA
Hobby – Cuisine

So I was right in my guesses to myself on her personality, in that she would be neat
(she cleared plates), outgoing (finger gunning), lazy (SLOUCH), playful (asp points
for games), and nice (she just obviously was!). Also, despite her outbursts in her
last week at home, Leech managed to grow up platinum. She must have had a
handy “Go to Uni” want tucked away 

Oh, and I‟m adding in Secondaries as they go to uni – and hers was way way WAY
apt! For the record, Louse rolled the slightly more obscure Pleasure.
..It was also at this point that I realised I‟d sent both the girls without a cooking
point between them, and when Occult leaves I wouldn‟t be able to feed them grilled
cheese for the Beyond Cheesey handicap, soo.. SKILL children, skill!

I‟m allowed to give Leech up to 8 commands a day now, so can force her onto the
books as well. Muahahaha!
And true to his word, as soon as Occult was done with his final exam a few hours
later he was straight on the phone and out of there!

“About time! I way overdue my well earned sparklies.”
“..Possibly not over due this outfit though. I blame that little redhead sabotaging it!
..Somehow.”

For the record, he also grew up Platinum. Pah, who said Bad Apples are hard to
keep happy?

(Famous last words, I‟m sure.)
“You‟re leaving already?! But we only just got here!”

“Laters Ginger, I‟ve got my own life to lead. And I‟ve been waiting long enough
already, so enjoy your crappy little text book, because I am GONE!

See ya back in hell.”

“You mean Riverblossom?”

“Same thing. That‟s the one thing Mum did teach me. Oh – and take care of my
Womrat.”

“That what-who?”
But Louse soon discovered Sweet Dream the Womrat, and decided that despite
her obnoxious Uncle she was well worth looking after.

..And I‟m still amazed at the rate they get through food for such a small thing. I
never need to feed the bird as much!
The girls had only been at Sim State a few days before Liz „accidentally‟ forgot she
was no longer a student and came by to visit.

“But there‟s nothing wrong with checking up on my first borns, is there?”

“Of course not.” Leech smiled. “I missed you anyway. But I‟m making my own
sandwiches now Mum, it‟s fantastic! No influence or anything!”

“I‟m very proud of you dear. But surely that‟s not all you‟ve been up to?”
“Well no, class is alright I guess. But what I’m really enjoying is having a whole
house just Lousey and myself!

Not that I don’t love everyone at home,” she quickly added, “but it’s so different just
being able to go about things in peace and quiet for a change! And the games
room.. Oh Mum, it’s so much fun!”

“Yes, I remember. Your father and I used to spend hours in there playing.”

“MOTHER!”

“Pool and poker dear, pool and poker!”
“Never mind. Anyway – your sister?”

“Oh, she loves it! She’s still really excited about keeping her scholarships of
course, but Lousey said she’s really happy she gets to just curl up with her books
on the couch openly now, without Ruthie throwing them about and burning them.”

“Yes, it is a relief that she’s stopped lighting those little bonfires in the living room..”

“Exactly. But Louse is really happy – she says she hasn’t got this much done in
ages!”
“And you’re coping alright with the work too?”

“Well. Yeah.. Except they want me to go out and get a bunch of body points for this
semester!”

“And?”

“..I couldn’t be bothered. On principal!”

“That’s my girl.” Liz smiled.
“I would chat to your sister before I go, but..”

“Mum! Don‟t guilt trip me!” Louse called from over her keyboard. “Term paper! Due
in a few hours! Want to finish!”

“I know dear, and I wouldn‟t have it any other way.” Liz smiled before kissing her on
the head and turning for the door. “Just remember darlings, your Dad and I know
where you live!”

“Yup, that worries me every day.”
“Did you know that some people don‟t eat grilled cheese every day? I heard people
on campus today talking about all sort of weird stuff, like.. Chilli, I think it was.”

“Well what the hat is that?”

“No idea! Odd though.”

And with these two happily settled in that‟s where I think I shall leave it for now. I‟d
intended to have all five girls in uni by now and be posting the heir poll with this
part – but oh well! Next time. I talk to much. See you next time for me talking too
much!

A Nightmare Family Birthday

  • 1. Greetings! Once more! More OWBC? Yes! Indeed.
  • 2. “Dad, you‟ve GOT to do something about Ruth! She‟s becoming a nightmare..” “Lousey honey, we‟re all Nightmares.” “Oh, you know what I mean! She‟s been awful to Leech, and Ri‟s just been following suit because they‟re twins.. She might listen to you, can‟t you do something?” “Hm.” „Orrible thought for a moment. “So is Leechy still horribly upset by all of this?”
  • 3. “Yes! Well.. Um. Actually no, she seems to be shrugging it off just fine now I think about it..” “Right. Do you think it‟s possible that this is all actually upsetting you far more than it is her?” “Maybe. But Ruth still shouldn‟t DO it in the first place!” “I agree Lousey. But she‟s the youngest of you all, and the only one who‟s really different in the niceness department. And take it from me Princess, that‟s a combination that tends to.. Well, let‟s just put it this way – you‟ll always know just how nice she really is.” he smiled knowingly. “She‟s just as different from me as I was from your Grandmother.” “So..?” “I‟ll remind them of that sometime. Now g‟won! You don‟t want to waste your teenage days sitting here with me! And besides, I think it‟s time that you lot all headed off to school.”
  • 4. “Have a good day at school, sweetie!” “Thanks Mum – and it‟s double Food Tech this morning, I‟ve saved room specially!” Bad Apple Leech is still failing to show any sign of Bad Appledom at all, and still keeps up her special cheesey bond with her Mother. “That‟s the spirit! Now hurry up, your sisters are already on the bus – remember to give them the extra sandwiches you made for lunch!”
  • 5. I don‟t know whether the extra grilled cheese helped or not, because Ruthless came back in just the same low spirits as ever over the Riverblossom education system. “Urgh, this work is just so pointless! Who CARES how fast a seed germinates under different weather? Pointless pointless pointless.” “It‟s not that bad. Okay, well it is – but at least it‟s shorter than usual!” Parasite half- heartedly smiled. “Oh greeeeeat, so only PART of my precious time is being wasted then? When I‟m in charge, this will be the first thing to go. TWIN! Where are you? Come do my homework!”
  • 6. But her twin, Riot, was actually quietly proving herself to be the scholar of the girls, and was already done and outside with her father. “It‟s impressive RiRi, really, how well you‟re doing at school. That‟s why YOU get the first pick of Daddy Games afterwards?” “Really? That‟s so awesome! I never get to go first at anything..” “Well, you deserve to just as much as your sisters!” “Really? But oh.. I probably should have asked Ruthless‟s permission to come out here..”
  • 7. “RiRi, you don’t need your sister‟s permission to do anything!” „Orrible sighed, and gave her a big hug. “But-” “If I‟d waited for permission to do things I don‟t think I‟d have ever been allowed of Mum‟s womb.” “Ewwww, gross Daddy!” “Sorry. Just don‟t forget to use your own mind, mmk RiRi? „Cause it‟s a good one.”
  • 8. Cross that her twin hadn‟t appeared on demand, Ruthless had to struggle through the rest of her homework on her own while Parasite flicked bits of paper waiting for her to be done so they could do something fun instead. “You sure this is the game you want to play?” “Oh yes. I am Ruthless Nightmare, and I don‟t like homework, and I don‟t like wasting time thinking about meaningless subjects, but I do like FUN!”
  • 9. “OOOOOOOW Ruthless, that isn‟t FUN! That was just.. PAIN!” “Oh don‟t be so soft. Vent a little! Go on, you do me now. GO ON.” “NO! I‟m going to go and find a nice hot ache-fixing bubble bath..” “You‟re losing more respect points!” she called after the alien.
  • 10. A few days later, rather more people than usual could be found at the Nightmare House. „Orrible had called everyone he could think of to attend his Birthday Party, and thought it was probably a good chance for his girls to get to know some of the rest of the family better. The rest of the family on the other hand, were less thrilled. “I don‟t CARE, I don‟t CARE, you silly silly little girl. Stupid girls, talking about stupid fish somehow always seems to get my back up.” “Oh come on Uncle Occult, we‟re going to have to live together at Sim State for a bit! Let‟s talk about something else.” “LA ALA LAAA LAAA DON‟T REMIND ME.”
  • 11. “Come on dear – you really should make an effort to get to know some of the relatives.” “In a minute! Hehe, you and Dad never let us do this normally! WHEEEEEEE!!”
  • 12. Deciding to set an example, Liz sought out Burns – who‟s she‟d always gotten on really well with at uni. “I still can‟t believe you and „Orrible have FIVE, Liz! That‟s just insane..” “You and Alec still haven‟t thought about having any then? Because it‟s been lovely having so many kids, I‟ve got to say.” “Oh Liz, no way! We‟re still far more interesting in just being „special naked friends‟, if you know what I mean.” “..Maybe you shouldn‟t talk to the girls much.”
  • 13. “..but..but.. It‟s interesting! Honest!” “Ruthless always says to call a spade a spade and a boring person a boring person. And you REALLY are a boring person.” “But! .. But! .. I own you!” “No you don‟t, Daddy‟s told me I‟ve got my own mind – and I believe him. You‟re just kinda weird.” “ARGH! ..But fair point.”
  • 14. Oh for goodness sake Occult! You used to live here, you KNOW the rules! “Ehehehe.. NOW let‟s see who‟s not worth paying attention to!” *headdesk*
  • 15. “‟Orrible sweetie, everybody seems to have gone inside and it‟s nearly time..” “Oh well – so what? It‟s their loss. I‟d rather it just be to two of us really.” “Howcome?” “Because my Liz, I think they‟d all get a little bit embarrassed with the goodbye- adulthood-kiss I‟m about to give you.”
  • 16. “Er.. „Orrible?” “No, wait! Not yet! NOT YET! Not the tingley sparklies! I haven‟t done my goodbye kiss yet!”
  • 17. “.. Mean old time.. 6pm is way too early!”
  • 18. “Ooof!” “Oow, my back! Liz, Liz, is your back all right?” “Fine, I‟m just a bit confetti-fied.. But, I think that all went as well as we could have hoped!”
  • 19. “Yes.” her husband smiled happily. “And you still look just as beautiful as you did the day I met you.” “Dear, that was over 40 years ago..” “So? Now, we missed that goodbye kiss, but what about a nice hello one.. Upstairs?” “I couldn‟t think of a better idea.”
  • 20. “OI! YOU! WOMAN! My Mum and Dad are now stupidly old, so the parties over. And I need to go and steal back the gnome guardian from my dim uncle. So GO HOME already!” “..Such a polite granddaughter ES has.” “Who? But I don‟t care – I am Ruthless and you are in my way. SHOO!”
  • 21. „Orrible and Liz promptly fell asleep after they „special‟ end to the party – so the girls didn‟t really get to see their new grey parents until the following morning. Parasite was quick to check that they were still up to everything they did together when they were younger. “And then left, and then right and put your arm – Liz! Liz, you‟re getting ahead of me!” “I haven‟t forgotten how to smustle just because I got old, Paris! And thank you for your concern, but just because I need to go to the toilet more frequently doesn‟t mean I‟m not just as fine as I was!” “Mmmk, if you‟re sure..”
  • 22. “Ooof, got me again Dad!” “Darling, there‟s no need to be so gentle! I‟m not made of paper.” “Yeah, but I don‟t want to hurt you by mistake.. I do work out a lot you know!” “And you think you‟re the only one? Come on you, show me what you‟ve really got!” „Orrible laughed.
  • 23. A little while later, she was finally convinced that her Father wasn‟t about to fall apart at any given moment. “See? Liz and I are fine.” “I know. I kinda knew you would be, but it‟s always good to check these things. Because there was the one time that a kid at school said that she dropped a flower pot on her Granddad‟s foot and then the next day his foot fell off!” “Yes.. Quite a tale. Anyway, it‟s almost noon – and you know what that means.”
  • 24. So as Paris served up the grilled cheese for the day, various Nightmares set about fixing the multitude of broken stuff about the house in their sometimes-when-I- remember noontime ritual. Seriously, with the number of days I forget and noon slip by – it‟s mounting up.
  • 25. Therefore anyone able to wield a wrench has to pitch in. Er – maybe that wasn‟t such a good plan? “Bastard! YOU TAP BASTARD! Obey MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE. S‟better.”
  • 26. “MUM! Oh my gosh, MUM! Pleasedon‟tdie pleasedon‟tdie..” Yes! „Orrible loves you, and I love „Orrible, therefore if you died he‟d be sad and therefore so would I so PLEASE DON‟T DIE LIZ!
  • 27. “Mum?” “*coughchokesplutter* .. I think I‟ll live. This time. But.. Toilet. Now.” Yay! But maybe Paris was right to be worried about her..
  • 28. To recover from her ordeal of nearly seeing her Mother friend, Louse got dressed and retreated to the cage of the faithful guardian‟s guardian and gave Tramp a good cuddle. “Could you, ya know, just start guarding my parents as well?” “RAWK, EFFORT, RAWK.” “So that‟s a no then?”
  • 29. For reasons best known to herself, Ruthless decided she wants to go on a date. .. And I‟m too scared of her to say no.
  • 30. “Here‟s a bunch of money, make it good!” “Or else?” “Think about it – do you really want to know?” “One perfectly matched date, coming right up!” “I am glad that we understand each other.”
  • 31. “Him? HIM?! I‟m supposed to interact with him? Oh well, it could be worse I guess. Somehow.”
  • 32. “Sooooo whateverthehell your name is, what do you look for in a good date?” “Me, oh well many things, but especially I love a good-” “Well that‟s just great! You know what I like? A guy who can take a good kicking.” “Huh?” “Let‟s have a looksee..”
  • 33. *BASH* “Ow, you crazy crazy woman!” “Meh, you‟re sturdy enough. Right, come with me.”
  • 34. “So you see, whateverthehellyournameis, my so called twin, has taken to doing things on her own. Can you imagine?” Ruthless shouted as she came in the house, rather bemused boy in tow. Riot quickly took that as her cue to exit.
  • 35. “I mean, of all the weak-willed cowards!” she continued loudly as her twin strode past. “Not a coward!” Riot called back. “See! Feeling the need to defend herself.” she went on. “FIRST sign of failure.”
  • 36. “Oh but who needs HER?!” Ruthless shouted.”Who needs a twin when I‟VE GOT A DATE. Such a GREAT date TOO!” The boy gasped. “I‟m a great date?!”
  • 37. “No you pillock, you‟re a complete moron. But my twin is the kind to be easily guilt tripped, and you‟re a great head-game ploy.”
  • 38. “Mind you, you‟re kind of hot for a ploy..” “Aww, that‟s the nicest thing anyone‟s ever said to me! You‟re sweet, I like you!” “Eh?”
  • 39. “Hang on.. Something‟s gone a bit wrong here! I‟m not sweet, you‟re not hot, I feel wrong.. ARGH, MAKE IT STOP!” “But we‟re have a brilliant date! Why make it stop now?” “SHUT UP, WHATEVERTHEHELLYOURNAMEIS!”
  • 40. “I feel really, really weird.. TWIN! Twin, come back! I didn‟t mean it, I‟d quite like you here actually – come and help me! TWIN! COME! Quick, before I.. I kind of want to..”
  • 41.
  • 42. “Well hey, I kind of feel a bit better now actually! We are done here. You may leave now.” “My name‟s Gary by the-” “LEAVE. NOW.”
  • 43. Later that evening, Riot felt brave enough to come downstairs again. “So.. How was your date?” “Oh it was amaaaaazing Twin, just amaaaaazing. We kissed and everything?” “..You did?” “Oh YES. And I didn‟t miss you for one second, nope not a bit, not one little bit and – Hang on. What is she doing?”
  • 45. “Eheheheeeehheeeeh.. Have made no money .. Have no aspiration points .. Will never be able to buy house .. But there‟s doll house .. Maybe there‟s money inside.. Maybe Maybe ..” Help?
  • 46. “WHERE ARE YOU LITTLE COINS?! Come out come out COME OUT! Leeechy waaaants you, give Leeechy nice aspiration fix..”
  • 47. “YOU FIX LEECHY! LEECHY LEECHY FIX NOW! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW!”
  • 48. “Eheheeheeeeheeehehehehee.. No coins .. But at least dollhouse broken .. Yes .. Yes, all broken .. AND NOW THE DOLLIES HAVE NOWHERE TO LIVE. Oh no.. Now the dollies have nowhere to live! Oh no.. What just happened?”
  • 49. “LOUSEY! I broke the dollies‟ home! I didn‟t mean to, I don‟t know what happened, I thought there might have been money but that was silly and I don‟t know what came over me and-” “Shh, shh – it‟s okay! Calm down Leech, it‟s all okay! You just had a little breakdown is all, and you don‟t need to, shh! There are lots of other ways to be happy, not just money..”
  • 50. “I‟m a Fortune Sim as well lest you forget – and I haven‟t made any money either, or bought expensive crap! But do you see me breaking down? No! You‟ll be okay Leechy, don‟t worry.” “I.. Thank you Louse. You really have put it all into perspective for me.” “I have? Already?” Louse was a bit confused. “Excuse me..” Leech mumbled, and pushed past her.
  • 51. “Leechy? Leechy, where are you going?” “Just need to go into the garden for a minute.. S‟alright..” “LEECHY!”
  • 52. “ARE YOU HIDING IN THE BIN LITTLE COINS? EH? EH? Well I‟ll find you, yes I will! I will find the coins and Leechy be happy again! Eeheheheeheheeeeheeeee.. Heh.”
  • 53. “Leech! Oh my gosh, are you alright! I just heard Louse shouting, I was kinda worried..” “Oh, it‟s okay. I‟m quite fine thank you.” “Phew! Well, your twin has just sorted the bin out, so why don‟t you come inside and have some nice grilled cheese to warm up, eh? You‟ll catch your death in your knickers otherwise!” “Ok. In a minute. There‟s just one thing I forgot to do..” she finished dreamily, and turned decisively and headed back into the garden.
  • 54. “You must be hiding in here monies, you MUST! Why isn‟t this making me feel any BETTER? You MUST stop hiding from Leechy..” (And no, I didn‟t forget to put the roof up for a picture – I forgot to build a roof in the first place.)
  • 55. “HoHO! Looks like little Miss Cheese Bum has finally lost it then, eh sis?” Ruthless laughed gleefully, as she pulled Louse into a headlock. “Hey – gerrof! GERROF!” “Aww, what‟s wrong sis? Can‟t take a bit of pressure from your youngest, most babiest sister?”
  • 56. “What is WRONG with you Ruth?” “Ruthless. And nothing! I‟m perfectly fine, thank you for asking. I can‟t say the same for you or your twin though..” But „Orrible was watching. “Girls.. This isn‟t becomingly Princess behaviour, from either of you.” “Yeah!” Ruthless hissed quietly. “Better keep a lid on it sis, or you‟ll be thrown out of the Royal Court of Morons, along with Cheese Bum!”
  • 57. “I can‟t believe you‟re still keeping this up!” Louse hissed back. “Everyone else gets along just fine, so I don‟t see why you can‟t as well!” “Don‟t wanna. I‟ve got better things to do.” “See, that‟s just it! We‟re your family, you have to spend time with us and you‟re the only one who seems to object to that! So be quiet, stay civil – and mostly just leave me and Leech alone! It doesn‟t take much.”
  • 58. While the war of ever mounting dislike raged on between Louse and Ruthless, their twin sisters actually found themselves to be getting along rather well! As the quieter of both the pairs, Leech and Riot were perfectly happy to spend their afternoons peacefully in each other‟s company enjoying their own pursuits. (When Leech wasn‟t busy having a breakdown, of course.)
  • 59. And in fact, her big sister was the only one around the witness Riot maxing out her creativity (as she‟d been Wanting to do for quite a while), and actually become the first member of Generation Two to achieve ANYTHING ACTUALLY WORTHY OF NOTE OR MERIT AT ALL. “But that just makes it even more brilliant! Hang on, just let me put dear Tramp away, he‟s made me feel quite better..” “RAWK, waste of time, you never shut the door, RAWK!” “Hush bird.”
  • 60. “But aww, well done Ri! I‟m really proud of you, I‟m not even sure if I‟ve got any skill points at all so I can‟t imagine maxing one like you have!” “Thanks! I‟m really glad I managed it.” “Oh, of course you‟re could! You‟re actually really good at everything you try it seems..” “That‟s what Dad always says! Speaking of, I wonder where he‟s got to today?”
  • 61. “And I will not have city-dwellers like yooooou spying on me at all hours of the day – it ain‟t proper! You back to yer skyscrapers and fast food, ya fool.” “But I wasn‟t..what?! I was born here! You know I was, you used to jig at my Mother!” “And I‟ll jig at yer too if you ain‟t careful!”
  • 62. “Well now that‟s a little uncalled for, don‟t you think? Jigging? I shall not have any jigging taking place in my house, thank you very much.” “Well who said it‟s up to yooooooou?” “I do! I live here!” “Arh, fair point yer bug-eyed creep.”
  • 63. Okay, not on, NOT ON. “He called me a creeeep..” I know sweetie. “I‟m not creepy!” No. No, you‟re really not. “And JIGGING! Oh, he spoke about jigging! What if any of the girls had heard?” ...
  • 65. “Clam down Leech, clam down!” Parasite had been brought running by her sister‟s distressed screams. “Look, c‟mon! Leave the flowers alone. Play red hands with me instead, mmk?” “Huh? What? Um.. Okay. No wait! Actually I need to go inside for just a minute.” “You sure you‟re okay?” “Hmm? Oh, fine! Just fine!”
  • 67. “Oh look Liz! Leech has decided to be artistic too!” “She is? How lovely! I‟m so glad we have such talented girls.” “I knew RiRi would rub off on her, they‟ve been spending so much time together lately. I think we should just leave her too it, don‟t you?”
  • 68. So they did. “So; have I ever told you the one about “The Hot-Tub Prince?” It‟s like The Frog Prince, only better! For a start, it begins with a jig. But not just any jig..”
  • 69. The Following Morning.. “Oooh, play SSX? +500!” That was IT? I could have made you do that DAYS ago! I bought you crap, you interacted with your family, you ate grilled cheese.. AAAAAARGH. Just in time though.
  • 70. For today is Leech and Louse‟s last day at home. And thankfully its a snow day so they can really enjoy it and make sure they get everything done! ..Such as being pretty making pretty snow angels 
  • 71. Of course this means it is a snow day for everyone else as well. And before Paris was willing to let her big sisters go, she wanted to know that it was safe. For like, Sim State flower beds and bins and such. “Leech really will be fine Paris, honest. Once we‟re there she‟ll actually make grilled cheese on her own without our influence, and that for a start will please her.” “Yeah I know – but we won‟t all be there to look after her if she goes mental again.” “She won‟t! I‟ll be there, as will all the other students she‟s bound to win over – and you‟ll join us in no time.”
  • 72. “Besides, worst come to the worst we can just tell her that if she doesn‟t stop it then all the snowmen will cry.” “She‟d buy that wouldn‟t she?” “Alas, I fear she would.”
  • 73. “You‟re definitely ready to go, Leechy? You know, Daddy really wouldn‟t mind if you wanted to stay here for another day! Or two. But then you‟d be an adult – and that‟s okay too! In fact, Daddy‟s quite happy for you to never leave at all..” “Oh Dad, don‟t be ridiculous! I‟ll be fine. In fact this morning I‟ve done a bunch of completely random stuff that‟s given me a few aspiration points and I‟m feeling much better!” “..Not even one more day?” “What about if you and Mum come and visit us anytime, mmk?” “Every day?” “Don‟t push it.”
  • 74. And so Louse was able to finally put in the call she‟d be longing to for days and claim all her many scholarships before moving to college, and away from Ruthless. Not a day too soon.
  • 75. And subsequently I was allowed to give Leech her first command EVER and have her phone a taxi in order to follow her sister. I think we were both quite thrilled at this new „clicking on her‟ business. Others were too. “So it‟s just going to be you and me now, hmm Twin? Plenty of time to straighten out this new „independent streak‟ you‟ve gotten..” “Well, Paris is going to be here too for a while. Her birthday‟s nearer ours than theirs!” “..Bugger.”
  • 76. Well as college growing up outfits go – these two didn‟t do awfully, buuuut.. We could do better. We wouldn‟t want them to scare their family members to death after all.
  • 77. “Hey Uncle Occult! Remember me, your niece Louse, from the party? You refused to talk to me ever again after 4 minutes of meeting.” “Of course I do! How are you, you horribly self-assured optimist?” “Never better. I would insult you back, but I‟m too nice and don‟t want my sister to pick up any bad habits.”
  • 78. “So how‟s it been? Suck here I mean, for a whole Generation.. Thank you of course, because if you hadn‟t we wouldn‟t have been able to move in so quickly..” “S‟alright. I‟ve been promised I can actually have a life now when I graduated – at long last. Apparently I‟m more liked now.” “Aww, good! But.. Have you really been okay? I mean, I watched my mother nearly die once, if she actually had, I don‟t know how I‟d cope..”
  • 79. “My Mother died? Oh yes, so I‟m just finding out. She left me inheritance? Huh, now that‟s a turn up.. But whatever, I‟ll just use it to buy myself a nice house and wife. I‟m sure you can buy those things. I‟ve only got a few hours until my last exam, and it actually looks like I‟m going to graduate with top honours! Not too shabby for a Bad Apple, whatever Mum said..” “Mmk.. But you were a Bad Apple? I think Dad mentioned that – but so‟s my twin sister Leech! Go say hi or something, she had a rough teendom towards the end.”
  • 80. “So, you‟re „Orrid „Orrible‟s little Bad Apple then? Awesome! Want to compare notes on how much we dislike our family? S‟ a rough deal, isn‟t it? I can remember how awesome it feels, finally coming to uni, and having commands of your own and being free of all the constant put downs, insults and yelling! So – how much do you hate your Dad, or what?”
  • 81. “You‟re a very strange Uncle.. Uncle Blight‟s never said anything like that – he knows that I love my family. And Dad‟s the best!” “Your Mum then? I bet she‟s a total hag..” “*yawn* Nope. She‟s my best friend actually. Other than Lousey of course.”
  • 82. “WHAT!? So you‟re telling me you‟ve had a completely blissful upbringing?” “Well, yeah actually. My youngest sister‟s not so hot but that‟s not her fault. It must be hard for her having all of us around all the time.” “Hang on – this makes no sense! You‟re the Bad Apple! You‟re supposed to be resentful of everything!” “Nope, sorry.” “..You are SO „Orrible‟s daughter.”
  • 83. And she so is! Turns out three of her personality scores are just the same as her Dad‟s. For now she‟s at uni, I can actually now find out and tell you a little bit more about Miss Leech here. Leech Nightmare Capricorn – 10 10 1 6 7 Fortune/Grilled Cheese – Become Head of the SCIA Hobby – Cuisine So I was right in my guesses to myself on her personality, in that she would be neat (she cleared plates), outgoing (finger gunning), lazy (SLOUCH), playful (asp points for games), and nice (she just obviously was!). Also, despite her outbursts in her last week at home, Leech managed to grow up platinum. She must have had a handy “Go to Uni” want tucked away  Oh, and I‟m adding in Secondaries as they go to uni – and hers was way way WAY apt! For the record, Louse rolled the slightly more obscure Pleasure.
  • 84. ..It was also at this point that I realised I‟d sent both the girls without a cooking point between them, and when Occult leaves I wouldn‟t be able to feed them grilled cheese for the Beyond Cheesey handicap, soo.. SKILL children, skill! I‟m allowed to give Leech up to 8 commands a day now, so can force her onto the books as well. Muahahaha!
  • 85. And true to his word, as soon as Occult was done with his final exam a few hours later he was straight on the phone and out of there! “About time! I way overdue my well earned sparklies.”
  • 86. “..Possibly not over due this outfit though. I blame that little redhead sabotaging it! ..Somehow.” For the record, he also grew up Platinum. Pah, who said Bad Apples are hard to keep happy? (Famous last words, I‟m sure.)
  • 87. “You‟re leaving already?! But we only just got here!” “Laters Ginger, I‟ve got my own life to lead. And I‟ve been waiting long enough already, so enjoy your crappy little text book, because I am GONE! See ya back in hell.” “You mean Riverblossom?” “Same thing. That‟s the one thing Mum did teach me. Oh – and take care of my Womrat.” “That what-who?”
  • 88. But Louse soon discovered Sweet Dream the Womrat, and decided that despite her obnoxious Uncle she was well worth looking after. ..And I‟m still amazed at the rate they get through food for such a small thing. I never need to feed the bird as much!
  • 89. The girls had only been at Sim State a few days before Liz „accidentally‟ forgot she was no longer a student and came by to visit. “But there‟s nothing wrong with checking up on my first borns, is there?” “Of course not.” Leech smiled. “I missed you anyway. But I‟m making my own sandwiches now Mum, it‟s fantastic! No influence or anything!” “I‟m very proud of you dear. But surely that‟s not all you‟ve been up to?”
  • 90. “Well no, class is alright I guess. But what I’m really enjoying is having a whole house just Lousey and myself! Not that I don’t love everyone at home,” she quickly added, “but it’s so different just being able to go about things in peace and quiet for a change! And the games room.. Oh Mum, it’s so much fun!” “Yes, I remember. Your father and I used to spend hours in there playing.” “MOTHER!” “Pool and poker dear, pool and poker!”
  • 91. “Never mind. Anyway – your sister?” “Oh, she loves it! She’s still really excited about keeping her scholarships of course, but Lousey said she’s really happy she gets to just curl up with her books on the couch openly now, without Ruthie throwing them about and burning them.” “Yes, it is a relief that she’s stopped lighting those little bonfires in the living room..” “Exactly. But Louse is really happy – she says she hasn’t got this much done in ages!”
  • 92. “And you’re coping alright with the work too?” “Well. Yeah.. Except they want me to go out and get a bunch of body points for this semester!” “And?” “..I couldn’t be bothered. On principal!” “That’s my girl.” Liz smiled.
  • 93. “I would chat to your sister before I go, but..” “Mum! Don‟t guilt trip me!” Louse called from over her keyboard. “Term paper! Due in a few hours! Want to finish!” “I know dear, and I wouldn‟t have it any other way.” Liz smiled before kissing her on the head and turning for the door. “Just remember darlings, your Dad and I know where you live!” “Yup, that worries me every day.”
  • 94. “Did you know that some people don‟t eat grilled cheese every day? I heard people on campus today talking about all sort of weird stuff, like.. Chilli, I think it was.” “Well what the hat is that?” “No idea! Odd though.” And with these two happily settled in that‟s where I think I shall leave it for now. I‟d intended to have all five girls in uni by now and be posting the heir poll with this part – but oh well! Next time. I talk to much. See you next time for me talking too much!
