    • Urban settlement

    • They are isolated farms
    • They are small groups of buildings that are separated from the next group by several Km
    • Location :
    • -G.B. in Scotland Wales and Northern England
    • -Spain: Basque Country, Galicia,Cantabria, Asturias and North of Castilla

  • 5. Nucleated Settlements
    • These are places where buildings are clustered around a central point
    • Location :
    • -Lowland Britain, Midlands and Esat Anglia
    • -Spain Castillas , Eastern Spain and Southern Spain

    • Towns and dispersed dwelings
    • -Andalusia, town and Cortijos
    • -Catalonya and Valensia ; Masias y Barracas

    • Land use in which housing predominates , as opposed to industrial and commercial areas
    • Their inhabitants only sleep there.
  • 15. Barcelona,metropolitan area
  • 16. Suburbanised
    • Its when a little town is near a huge city
    • The lifestyle of the people changes from rural to urban.
    • Pinto ( Madrid)
  • 17. Fishing town
    • Its economical activity is fishing
    • Lastres (Asturias)
