  1. The Poison Dart Frog By Maddison Farrelly
  2. Classification <ul><li>Poison Dart Frogs are amphibians. They are a group of toads and salamanders, except they are poisonous. </li></ul>
  3. Description <ul><li>These frogs come in a large range of colours like yellow, red, orange, green, blue, black and gold. They are a small animal that is poisonous. </li></ul>
  4. Habitat <ul><li>A Poison Dart Frog lives in the rainforests of Central and South America. Depending on individual habitats they can extend from the tropical rainforests from Costa Rica to Brazil. </li></ul>
  5. Movement <ul><li>It moves by using its legs and arms. Then pushing its arms and bounces of its two legs. It will go slow or fast depending on its surroundings, so if there is a person chasing it, it will use its legs and arms fast but if it is just jumping around the rainforests it will normally go slow. </li></ul>
  6. Feeding habits <ul><li>A Poison Dart Frog usually eats on small animals like insects like fruit flies, flies, newborn crickets, ants, termites and beetle. </li></ul>
  7. Breeding <ul><li>Poison Dart Frogs breed during the rainy season. The male will attract a female by making a buzzing sound then he guards to make sure no other males are coming. After the female has laid her eggs then the male then will look after them and keep them moist or until they hatch. </li></ul>
  8. Other facts <ul><li>The Golden Poison Dart Frogs have enough poison to kill up to 20,000 mice. </li></ul><ul><li>These types of frogs are sometimes called a group of army. </li></ul>
