  8. 8. 9 African American</li></li></ul><li>iRespond ~ Lite<br />iRespond ~ Lite is student response system that allows teachers to become instantly productive. It consists of 36 clickers and is delivered through a teacher dashboard.<br />
  9. 9. Interactive White Board<br />An Interactive White Board inspires classroom students by turning classroom lessons into interactive experiences.<br />
  10. 10. Instuctional Use of Technology<br />The i Respond ~ Lite system in connection with the Iteractive White Board can be used in a number of exciting ways. It is designed for the use of both summative and formative assessment. It allows teachers to quickly assess the students understanding by asking real time questions and receive real time feedback. It can also be used to give student paced quizes and tests. Teachers will receive immediate results allowing more time to plan instruction and less time grading. Some of the types of questions that can be given are true/false, multiple choice, matching, Yes/No, numeric fill in the blank, and survey.<br />
  11. 11. Improved Student Learning<br />I visited Mrs. Robinson's 9th grade Math I class and was amazed at the student engagement that was taking place. There were no classroom disruptions, the students were all involved in the learning process and the seemed excited to be a part of the days lesson.<br />
  12. 12. Teacher Feedback<br />Mrs. Robinson loves iRespond! She has seen the following take place since she began using it.<br /><ul><li>Student test scores increase

  21. 21. Expensive to replace</li></li></ul><li>Summary<br />Using iRespond in the classroom seems to have been very successful in Mrs. Robinson's case. By infusing technology in her classroom she has piqued student interested, increased student confidence, and shown an improvement in student test scores. The school has already started the process of outfitting every classroom in the school with one of these units. iRespond has proven to be a great tool in today's 21st Century classroom.<br />
