  • 1. Seven of 7000 Things You Can Do to Photos in Photoshop<br />How to lighten an image when lost in shadow because of light background<br /><ul><li>Create an overlay layer from the icon at bottom of layers palette using ALT + CLICK
  • 2. ALT gives you a dialogue box
  • 3. Select Overlay blending mode, check 50% neutral
  • 4. Make foreground color white (X)
  • 5. Set brush to 30% opacity and wipe over the dark areas</li></ul>Remove Red Eye<br /><ul><li>Use redeye tool, seventh icon down on tools palette. It is set to turn reds to blacks
  • 6. Draw a box around red eye</li></ul>Remove Blemishes<br />Use Spot Healing Brush Tool, seventh icon down. Brush lightly or click over blemishes<br />Stamp Tool – make person disappear<br />Use Stamp Tool – ninth tool down. Select area to use as cover, then brush over what you want to remove<br />Cut someone out and place in new background<br /><ul><li>Use magnetic lasso (third down) or Quick Selection Tool (fourth down) to cut out your chosen image by tracing around it
  • 7. CTL + C = copy
  • 8. Switch to other photo and use CTL + V to paste
  • 9. CTL + T allows Free Transform to resize pasted image
  • 10. Enter turns off transform and places your image</li></ul>Straighten an Image with the Ruler and Arbitrary Rotate Option<br /><ul><li>Use the Ruler, below the Eyedropper tool to draw a line alone a tilted reference point, such as an ocean or a horizon
  • 11. Choose Image> Rotate Canvas> Arbitrary</li></ul>Perspective Cropping<br /><ul><li>Use cropping tool to roughly select the object
  • 12. Click on the Perspective box on the top menu
  • 13. Change individual corners to match the image
  • 14. Hit Enter
