  • 1. Lotus Notes - Installation • Navigate to where you have downloaded the Notes installer and double-click the file to begin the installation • Click Next • Click I accept the terms in the license agreement and click Next • Enter your User Name and MBS as the Organisation and click Next • Click Next to accept the installation paths • Click Next to accept the Notes Client as the program feature to be installed • Click Install to begin installing the Notes client • When completed you will receive an Install Wizard Completed message, click Finish • Lotus Notes is now installed on your laptop and is ready to be configured
  • 2. Lotus Notes - Configuration • Launch Lotus Notes by double-clicking the icon on the desktop. Click Next • Enter your full name (First name Surname) in the Your name field • Enter dom01.mbs.ac.uk in the Domino server field and click Next • Click Next to set up a connection to a local area network (LAN) • Select TCP/IP from the Select a network type drop down menu • Enter dom01.mbs.ac.uk as the server address, click Next • Add your user ID by clicking the Browse button and navigate to your A: drive. Highlight your ID file and click Open then click Next • Click Yes to copy the ID file Do you want your ID file A:user.id copied to your data directory • Enter your password (6 digit registration number) and click OK • Click Finish • Lotus Notes setup is now complete. Click OK
  • 3. Lotus Notes - Configuration • To use the default Lotus Notes Welcome Page, click the tick next to No thanks, just give me the defaults • The Welcome Page will then be displayed • Lotus Notes is now ready for use
