  • 1. BY REV. GEORGE C. DUKE INTO HIS PATH A BIBLE STUDY ON RIGHTLY DIVIDING THE NEW TESTAMENT
  • 2.
  • 3. IT IS ALSO OUR RECIPE TO LIVE BY AND OUR GUIDE FOR SALVATION
  • 4. JESUS TAUGHT THE APOSTLES FOR 3 YEARS Eph. 2:20 And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone; 2:21 In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord: 2:22 In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit
  • 5. Jesus Died Rose from the grave appeared to Disciples then ascended into Heaven Acts 1:4 And, being assembled together with them, commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which, saith he, ye have heard of me. 1:5 For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence.
  • 6. Disciples obey the command of Jesus to wait in Jerusalem till endued with power from on high CHURCH ESTABLISHED
  • 7. ALMOST 2,000 YEARS HAVE ELAPSED SINCE THE CHURCH WAS ESTABLISHED. SINCE THAT TIME THE ANTICHRIST HAS ATTEMPTED TO DESTROY THE TRUE APOSTOLIC FAITH. ROME'S EMPEROR CONSTANTINE'S ENTRANCE INTO THE CHRISTIAN RELIGION ONLY SERVED AS AN ATTEMPT TO ACCOMPLISH THIS. EVEN THOUGH HE CONTINUED IN HIS PAGAN PRACTICE'S, HE IS REVERED AS A CHURCH FATHER TO THE BLIND CHRISTIAN WORLD OF TODAY.
  • 8. SATANIC ATTEMPTS SINCE THAT TIME HAVE BEEN TO FORM RELIGIONS THAT CATER TO THE PEOPLE AND TEAR DOWN THE TRUE STRUCTURE OF THE CHURCH. IN SPITE OF THESE ATTEMPTS THERE HAVE BEEN THOSE THROUGHOUT THE DARK AGES AND THE MIDDLE AGES THAT HAVE HELD TO THE APOSTOLIC FAITH. PAUL OF SAMASOTA, THE ABIGENSES, AND THE ANABAPTIST WERE SOME THAT HAVE HELD ON DEARLY TO THE WORDS AND TEACHINGS OF THE EARLY CHURCH, EVEN TO THE DEATH. TODAY THE CHURCH MUST TEACH, PREACH, AND PRACTICE THAT SAME MESSAGE.
  • 9. TO BE IN HIS PATH WE MUST GO BACK TO THE TEACHINGS OF THE APOSTLES AND KNOW WHAT THEY TAUGHT WHEN THEY ESTABLISHED THE CHURCH 2Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
  • 10. 1 2   There are two paths that people walk in this life. ‑Both are eternal.
  • 11.
    • .
    One leads to eternal death
  • 12. the other leads to eternal life .
  • 13. The Greek word for death is "thanatos", It always meant separation. Eternal death means the separation of man and God. Mark 9:44 Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.
  • 14. Life ( Greek Zoe ) as defined in the bible means union. Eternal life then means a eternal union between man and God.
  • 15. 1 2 We must choose which path we travel

  • 51. Matthew 7:13-24 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: [14] Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. [15] Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. [16] Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? [17] Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. [18] A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. [19] Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. [20] Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. [21] Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. [22] Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? [23] And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. [24] Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:
