Pi Slice is a web based social platform which represents a new channel of funding for Micro Finance Institutions. Its framework is a unique, connecting system that links individuals and companies – who wish to invest - with MENA based MFIs - which in turn use the funds to provide micro-credit to their customers. Through this web based platform, motivated individuals and companies can help MFIs in the MENA region to build a sustainable future for micro-entrepreneurs, as well as a favourable ecosystem for development at the macro level.

  • 9. 1 c Entrepreneurship Story MARCH 2010 MARCH 2012 Genny undergoes life altering trekk at Kilimanjaro Pi Slice launched officially and by June 2012, finalizes a Partnership Agreement with MicroWorld/ PlanetFinance to re-build and relaunch together for March 2013 a MENA to MENA platform. Following a passion for the microfinance & online industries, Genny presents Pi Slice idea & business plan part of MBA project at London Business School MARCH 2011 Genny mentored and supported by Tom Speechley – Senior Partner Abraaj to make sure Pi Slice is a viable Business Model. Pi Slice gets introduced to the Endeavor Network which supports high impact entrepreneurs world wide. Pi Slice gets selected to attend the Summit of Innovation & Entrepreneurship in New York as a panelist. Pi Slice participates in major global entrepreneurship competitions namely Cartier Women Initiative Award, Bader Startup Cup Competition & Global Social Ventures Competitions, Endeavour. Pi Slice gets invited to World Economic Forum and different summits and conferences as a speaker. Pi Slice completes a CAT4 License Application in DIFC with the ambition to become the 1st microfinance online bank in MENA.
