  4. 4. Mary Martin The Great Tigers Mary always gives her best and whenever another athlete is having a problem in the pool, she is always there to lend a hand. It is a privilege and honor to have Mary in our club! Swimming
  5. 5. Jason Stimson Genesee ARC Six years of participation in Special Olympics attest to the fact that Jason is a committed athlete. Jason’s love of sports and passion for competing makes him a great role model! - Coach Cutcliffe Track and Field, Snow Shoeing
  6. 6. Jessica Amaya <ul><li>Athena </li></ul>Jessica is one of the leaders of Team Athena. She attends every practice and event with great enthusiasm while she works to improve her own skills. She also readily volunteers to help a teammate who is struggling. Basketball Bowling, Swimming, Track and Field
  7. 7. Jack Feola <ul><li>Boces </li></ul>Jack has represented Monroe County and Genesee Region at State events for athletics. He is kind, friendly, energetic, and always exhibits great sportsmanship. Alex Davis <ul><li>LAI </li></ul>Alex has shown tremendous heart in all sports and extends his hand to help fellow teammates at any time possible… He is a well rounded young man that feels as the sky’s the limit. He one that leaves it all on the line Basketball, Floor Hockey, Poly Hockey, Soccer, Softball, Track and Field

Steven Kozinsky <ul><li>Genesee Express </li></ul>Alpine Skiing, Bowling, Golf, Volleyball Steven always gives 110% of himself while competing and his positive, determined spirit is never in question. He always compliments his teammates great play, even when not doing well and always keeps the spirit of being brave alive! -Coach Johnson

  11. 11. David Harvey <ul><li>Ontario ARC </li></ul>David truly listens and watches what the coaches are saying and will practice that technique until he succeeds to his satisfaction. Dave is a heads up player and encourages his teammates to do their best also.
  12. 12. Eric Johnson <ul><li>CDS </li></ul>Poly Hockey, Basketball, Swimming, Volleyball, Softball, Soccer, Golf and Bowling. Eric’s expression shows his pride in winning or just in competing, but he is happy in letting others take the bows and accept the praises. He is an asset in all team competition with his athletic abilities and gives his encouragement and suggestions in the typical laid back Eric style.

Nicholas Kohler <ul><li>Webster CYR </li></ul>Basketball, Track and Field, Swimming Nic’s enthusiasm and friendliness make him a great asset to the team…His sense of humor adds a lot to our road trips and we feel very lucky to have had Nic as part of our team and are incredibly proud of him!

Eric is not only an outstanding person on and off the field but is an inspiring piece of the puzzle that makes up the Special Olympics Softball

He has grown as a person since his involvement with Special Olympics. He has built his sportsmanship skills and applies them to all he does. Track and Field, Swimming

  17. 17. Randy Prue <ul><li>School of Holy Childhood </li></ul>Basketball, Bowling, Track and Field, & Swimming Randy gets along well with coaches and enjoys his peers. He and his mom go to all special Olympic events in which Holy Childhood participates. ..Randy often helps his friends and is an all around great team player! Last year, Randy was Captain of his weekly basketball team

  20. 20. Geri Rice Geri is the epitome of persistence. She sets a goal and gets after it tenaciously. Not many people work harder than Geri, be it at the gym, on the track or in life. I am proud of all her accomplishments this year and congratulate her as a 2009 CYR athlete award winner.
