  • 1. HEAT @ CGCC Humanitarian & Environmental Action Team The most active club on campus!
  • 2. Great March for Climate Action This Upcoming Sunday, April 6th (4/6) @ 6 PM Marchers arrive and will camp on ASU West campus. ASU has invited ASEC and HEAT to come to campus to meet the marchers and share stories, etc. This Upcoming Monday, April 7th (4/7) @ 4 PM – 6 PM Join the rally from 4pm-6pm on the east end of the park in the 'urban plaza' area. The address is 1134 N Central Ave, Phoenix, United States. Meeting in front of ASU West to join the marchers for their 15.4 mile* march to Margaret T. Hance park in downtown. *You can choose to march as far as you want, and are not obligated to march the full distance.

Sustainability Week Monday (4/14) Book Drive & Promo Event @ Student Center 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM Tuesday (4/15) Guest Speaker: Lori Riddle & Compost Demo @ SC 140 & ETC 12:00 PM - 3:00 PM Wednesday (4/16) Dumpster Dive @ PAC Front Lawn 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM Thursday (4/17) Guest Speakers: Renee Jackson & Sailesh Rao @ SC 103/113 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM Hunger Banquet @ Student Pavilion 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM Friday (4/18) Gardening in ETC No Official Meeting Saturday (4/19) Vehsig Jeved Community Garden Volunteers @ Vah-ki Co-op Gardens 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM Horseshoe & Casa Blanca Rd, District 5 We will be meeting at the above location by 10 AM, please plan your trip accordingly to be on time. The event will conclude around 2 PM at the GRIC. Lunch will be provided. Please dress appropriately. If you haven't already, turn in your Field Trip Form Sustainability (n.) The Earth Day Symposium features a series of short presentations (approx. 10 minutes) prepared by fellow students to raise awareness about the human footprint, and to inspire a culture of sustainable habits. *Ask your professors if you can get extra credit for attending and/or presenting at the Earth Day Symposium!   • 5. Harvest Festival Music time slots are as follows for both Wed. and Thurs. [12:30 - 1:00] [1:00 - 1:30] [1:30 - 2:00] [2:00 - 2:30] Wednesday (4/30) & Thursday (5/1) Harvest Festival @ ETC Ramada/Gardens 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM Set Up: 9:30 AM Take Down: 4:00 PM The Harvest Festival is the time of year that we celebrate the cultivation of our efforts over the past semester, and it has been a HEAT tradition since the club's inception. ETC Garden produce and seeds will be given for a donation. Local food vendors, artists, and musicians will also be attending this amazing festival that is not to be missed!
