  • 2. No Child Left Behind (NCLB) ● All students must be proficient by 2014 ● Schools must provide annual assessments in Math and ELA to measure progress ● Students/Schools must make satisfactory progress each year ● NCLB has focused our work on helping each individual student!
  • 3. Future - NCLB Waiver ● Increase in testing over the coming years ○ Addition of EOC tests at LHS ○ Addition of junior year summative assessment ● Monitor progress of students within the Super Subgroup (Black, Hispanic, LEP/ELL, IEP, F/R) ● 25% increase in performance by the year 2020. ● New Test in 2015 - Smarter Balanced Assessment Consortium (SBAC) - adaptive delivery assessment; field test in 2013-14
