    2. Mine is The Niagara Falls. Chosen because it was part of a wonderful family holiday to Canada and I had a great time there. Walking towards the falls is very strange. A mist from the waterfalls usually showers everyone with rain even when there are no clouds.
    3. An information board states there are three separate waterfalls called: Horseshoe Falls, American Falls Bridal Veil Falls. The Horseshoe Falls are in Canada the other two are in America.
    4. We walked towards a world famous boat ride called the Lady in the Mist and joined the queue. We had to shout to each other because the noise of the falls was so loud. I asked if I could use part of this YouTube video so you can hear the noise of the water . By kind permission of Duskette1
    5. As we approached the boat we were all issued with a blue poncho. CC flickr image by mudry
    6. I live in a town that has lots of buildings and noisy traffic. Niagara Falls is very noisy from the water but there is lots of trees and lots of space.
    7. From the boat we could see people wearing yellow poncho's walking down steps the side of the American Falls. My friend thought that the two coloured ponchos were used to identify which country people had come from, if they fell into the river. CC flickr image by petecar Click to watch a video
