    In addition to his on-line marketing strategies, Obama's campaign was unique in the level of outreach they did targeted at people with disabilities. Most political candidates ignore us. Obama's wasn't perfect (there is more they could have done, for example, to ensure that all their on-line videos had toggle-on captions for deaf people and an audio description option for blind people). But it was refreshing.

    Obama's election night speech had special meaning to people with disabilities because it is very rare for any politician to not only mention us in such a major speech but to include us as simply part of the mainstream.
