SONY CENTER The Sony Centers were a group of independent retailers that had nothing in common but their name. The Sony Centers had no clear cut positioning. More and more, some of Sony Centers were positioning themselves on price. A ﬁght they could not win, as huge price ﬁghters have entered the market. In order to position the Sony Centers as a coherent group, we created corporate and instore guidelines and created, in collaboration with HUB architects, a new retail-experience.

PEGASE Pegase exists 15 years and needed to sharpen up its brand image as luxurious tour operator. We created an elegant, modern classic and stylish new logo. And what used to be a typical brochure became an inspirational book. People ﬂipping through the book start daydreaming immediately.

O’COOL Yvan Lippens, owner and CEO, wanted to fundamentally reposition O’Cool from a horeca oriented discounter in frozen food to a modern high end shop for home cooks. We deﬁned Coolcooking as the new philosophy and created a fundamentally new visual identity.

STAD ANTWERPEN Antwerp is a divided city. The “clients of the city” don’t have a sense of belonging to the city they live in or work. They don’t feel responsible or proud enough. Despite all her initiatives and efforts to improve these feelings, the city was not perceived as communicating with the “clients”. Using over 100 different logo’s and no consistent corporate guidelines, didn’t help. A new logo, baseline and guidelines was the starting point to create a new sense of involvement with the city.

PEARLE Pearle’s discount image was an important barrier for new consumers to buy into the brand. It was also a mental barrier for up-scale spectacles brands to offer their collection at Pearle. We repositioned the store, created a new corporate identity, created an instore-environment where brands are more present and got rid of all the discounts and promotions in advertising.

VERITAS For more than 100 years Veritas is the specialist in accessories and sewing things for the semi-professional seamstress. A functional relationship that didn’t ﬁt any longer with the A-locations of the shops and the emotional role of clothes as identity builder. We expressed a new brand ambition: Veritas wants to be the inspirator for a personal ﬁnishing touch. We created a new logo, brand bible and corporate guidelines.

DE STANDAARD De Standaard has always been Flanders’ quality newspaper. The other side of the picture was that De Standaard was perceived as a boring paper. For many (non) readers, the paper was living in a dusty ivory tower. The change in size was the right moment for a refreshment of the logo, visual identity and tone-of-voice. We created a fresh and accessible image for and old intellectual paper.
