    2. Romans 15:4 – “For whatever was written in former days was written for our instruction, that through endurance and through the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope.”
    3. Dad’s visit reunited the family and God’s glory was recounted
      Dad responded to God’s glory by leading in worship
    4. Nehemiah 9:9-15 – “And you saw the affliction of our fathers in Egypt and heard their cry at the Red Sea, and performed signs and wonders against Pharaoh and all his servants and all the people of his land, for you knew that they acted arrogantly against our fathers. And you made a name for yourself, as it is to this day…
    5. Nehemiah 9:9-15 – …And you divided the sea before them, so that they went through the midst of the sea on dry land, and you cast their pursuers into the depths, as a stone into mighty waters. By a pillar of cloud you led them in the day, and by a pillar of fire in the night to light for them the way in which they should go…

    13. You are headed for burnout
      You will tire out the people
      You cannot do this alone
      Problems:
    14. Numbers 11:14,15 – “I am not able to carry all this people alone; the burden is too heavy for me. If you will…kill me at once, if I find favor in your sight, that I may not see my wretchedness.”
    15. Exodus 20:12 – “Honor your father and mother…”
      Proverbs 1:8 – “Hear, my son, your father’s instruction, and forsake not your mother’s teaching.”
      Proverbs 1:7 – “…fools despise wisdom and instruction.”
    16. Keep serving by bringing cases to God and reminding the people of God’s ways
      Solutions:
    17. Deuteronomy 4:5 – “See, I have taught you statutes and rules, as the LORD my God commanded me, that you should do them in the land that you are entering to take possession of it.”
    18. Appoint men, full of integrity, to judge for the people
      Solutions:
    19. II Chronicles 19:5-7 – “He appointed judges in the land in all the fortified cities of Judah, city by city, and said to the judges, Consider what you do, for you judge not for man but for the LORD. He is with you in giving judgment. Now then, let the fear of the LORD be upon you. Be careful what you do, for there is no injustice with the LORD our God, or partiality or taking bribes.”
    20. Follow through for God’s direction, endurance and peace
      Deuteronomy 34:7 – “Moses was 120 years old when he died. His eye was undimmed, and his vigor unabated.”
      Solutions:
    21. Take time to worship God for who He is and what He has done
      Seek out wisdom in the authorities God has placed in your life
      Do your part to relieve ministry burdens off of others
      Train others and spread the burden of ministry to other servants
      SO WHAT?
