Dad visited and was updated on family matters. He recognized that Moses was becoming overwhelmed in his role as leader. Dad gave wise counsel by acknowledging the problem, gathering information, and providing solutions. He advised that Moses should delegate responsibilities to others, appoint judges to help govern the people, and continue serving by bringing cases to God and reminding people of His ways. This would help relieve Moses' burden and allow the work to be spread across more people.
