  • 2. BIKING BRISBANE
    • Creative Sparks project – proudly supported by Brisbane City Council and Arts Queensland
    • Aim is to capture a view of Brisbane from a cyclist’s perspective
  • 3. COMPONENTS
    • Photographs
    • Video and audio: digital stories (3-4 minute videos) and longer recorded interviews
  • 4. PHOTOGRAPHS
    • I will be taking photographs of Brisbane cyclists, bikes, landscapes, built environment, businesses etc.
    • There will be a running series called “My Bike” – featuring cyclists’ and their bikes, with a brief Q&A

  • 8. DIGITAL STORIES & ORAL HISTORY
    • Short videos created in a workshop environment
    • Capturing personal stories about cycling in Brisbane
    • Longer interviews will be conducted on particular topics (eg. city planning)

    • All images will be loaded to Biking Brisbane Flickr Collection
    • All videos will be loaded to Vimeo
    • All content will also be featured on Biking Brisbane blog

    • Late May : full launch of Biking Brisbane blog
    • May-September : Take photos, conduct interviews, make stories (load online)
    • October : Biking Brisbane exhibition
