    Group 13 Schumpeter Hall
  • 8. Process of Manufacturing
    • Sheet Cutting
      • Sheet is cut as per the requirement.
      • 2-4 mm width is increased for better grip in further processes
    Group 13 Schumpeter Hall
  • 9. Process of Manufacturing
    • Printing
      • Screen Printing is done with the help of Acid resisting Ink which denotes all the connection points on the board.
      • Help of software is taken to design the board.
      • This process is done as per the requirement of customer.
    Group 13 Schumpeter Hall
  • 10. Process of Manufacturing
    • Etching
      • Chemical treatment is processed on the board to dissolve the copper in the acid.
      • At this process the actual circuit board is visible to us.
    Group 13 Schumpeter Hall
  • 11. Process of Manufacturing
    • Etching
    Group 13 Schumpeter Hall
  • 12. Process of Manufacturing
    • Drilling and cutting
      • Holes and cuts are made to the board.
      • This helps in inserting resistors, capacitors etc. on the board.
      • CNC machine is also used for this purpose.
    Group 13 Schumpeter Hall
  • 13. Process of Manufacturing
    • Drilling and Cutting
      • CNC machine
    Group 13 Schumpeter Hall
  • 14. Process of Manufacturing
    • Testing and quality check
      • This process is done by using a simulating machine and software which creates simulation of actual electronic components in order to check the circuit boards.
      • Manual testing is also done by the trained supervisors.
    Group 13 Schumpeter Hall
  • 15. SWOT analysis
    • Strength –
    • Comparatively better Quality
    • Lower cost
    • Updated & wide product range
    • Lower transportation cost for finished products
    • Good relations with suppliers and vendors
    • Weaknesses-
    • Low managerial skills
    • Improper inventory management
    • No proper scheduling of work
    • Lower finished stock
    Group 13 Schumpeter Hall
  • 16. SWOT analysis
    • Opportunity-
    • Expanding market.
    • Orders from other states
    • Threats-
    • Competition is increasing.
    • Fluctuating Power supply.
    • Chinese Product.
    • Fluctuating cost of the raw material
    Group 13 Schumpeter Hall
  • 17. Problems
    • Testing process takes lot of time due to improper layout.
        • A person from testing department should be assigned at each process to conserve time.
    • Because of unorganized storing proper Inventory valuation is not done .
        • Inventory must be maintained on a proper register and a log book can be used for it.
    • Rejection level is 5 %(errors)
        • This should be minimized by proper processing at ideal time and proper concentration of acid is required for etching.
    Group 13 Schumpeter Hall
  • 18. Problems
    • Dust particles create errors in the circuit boards.
      • Dust particles can be avoided by using curtains or glass doors between the departments. Hand gloves, aprons and proper draught can be implied there.
    Group 13 Schumpeter Hall
  • 19. Recommendations
    • Use of log book for inventory valuation .
    • Use an Chemical Expert for proper concentration measurement.
    • Cost :
    • Salary 6000 X 12 = Rs. 72,000
    • Rejection Level 5 % ~ Rs. 1,50,000
    • Testing department should be decentralized.
      • This can save time and related to Quality check.
    • Dust particles must be avoided by using glass doors between departments.
    • Scheduling can be more optimized.
