Experiencing sitting on a cyclo, the popular mean of transport inHanoi, enjoying views of what is happening on the streets of the Old Quarter, yourovernight will be in Hanoi.Day 3: Hanoi – Halong bay – Traditional junk (B, L, D) Our guide and bus will pick you up at your hotel; on the way to Halong city enjoy the journey through the rich farmlands of the Red River Delta and the scenery of rice fields, water buffalo and everyday Vietnamese village life. Arrive in Halong for boarding. Lunch is served with a welcome drink while the boat cruises the bay to enjoy the beautiful limestone seascape with Fighting cock, Dog Rock and Incense Burner. After visiting Amazing cave we stop at a floating house andgo kayaking to Luon cave to enjoy the quiet atmosphere of the bay. Fresh fruit platterwill be served followed by a dinner between 6h30 and 7h00 pm, overnight on board.Day 4: Overnight cruise – Halong - Hanoi (B, L)Sunrise breakfast and cruise around the clear & emerald water to another part of HalongBay with a close up view of stunning limestone peaks. Arriving at Tan Son Nhat airport in Ho Chi Minh City, thehustle and the bustle city, you will be met and driven to your hotel. Enjoy Welcomedinner with Vietnam traditional cuisine and have a good night sleep.Day 7: Ho Chi Minh – Cu Chi half day tour (B, L)Cu Chi, a system of tunnels combining to form an underground city during the American/Vietnam War. It is legendary for its network of underground tunnels, which extends over220km, and is a popular destination for both Vietnamese and foreign visitors. Cu Chi stillcontains plenty of evidence of the fierce battle that took place here and all over this areayou will find the remnants of war.A morning drive will take you to visit the famous Cu Chi tunnels, a Byzantine maze ofunderground passages, chambers, rooms and booby traps used by both the Vietminh andthe Viet Cong to suddenly materialise as if from nowhere, launch a lightning ambush,you will watch a short introductory video on the tunnels construction and explore themaze of tunnels. And vanish equally rapidly. Your overnight will be in Ho Chi Minh.Day 8: Ho Chi Minh – Mekong day trip(B, L)Exotic life in Mekong Delta can not be seenin any where else all over the world. Many shops are found along Dong Khoi, which used tobe the trendy Rue Catena in French colonial times. Close by are Hai Ba Trung and LeLoi, which are also worth a look. Off-the-peg clothing is always a good buy but evenbetter is to have clothes made up by one of the many tailors. There is always a goodrange of colored silk to choose from. Hand-embroidered tablecloths and napkins are verypopular. Your overnight will be in Ho Chi Minh City.Day 10: Ho Chi Minh City departureOur fantastic holiday come to an end.
