  • 3. • Moore Pediatric Surgery Center – Opened 2011 3 O.R; 21 Bed ambulatory surgery facility (Ortho; Optho; Uro; ENT; Plastics; Dental; General) 4 surgical missions in 2011 9 surgical missions in 2012 14 surgical missions in 2013 16 surgical missions scheduled for 2014 2,000 surgical procedures, and counting!! All care is provided free-of-charge.

Telemedicine Arrives November 2013, GA Partnership for TeleHealth placed a Telemedicine rig in The Moore Pediatric Surgery Center, Zona 1, Guatemala City, Guatemala. Answered a need for access to surgical consults & patient screening (pre- and post-op) New MPSC staff member (Pediatrician) is tasked to lead the effort. THANK YOU, Paula and team!!!
