Ken Robinson’s talk “How to escape education's death valley” is one of my favorites. It was recorded in April of 2013. I highly recommend that you watch his latest talk on TED.com. The quotes I assembled for the talk are the one’s most salient to me personally. This is not an attempt to summarize his talk in anyway, but perhaps a quote or two will be useful for you in your own presentations related to education, etc. The slides are in PDF, but you can easily cut and paste text as you wish. You can of, course, get the entire transcript of the talk on the ted.com website (in many languages). Let’s keep the conversation regarding the education revolution going. peace - garr

  • What is amazingly sad is that, once again, education in common sensical terms is just that--common sense. Let's employ it a bit more, shall we.

  • Thanks for sharing, Garr. One of my favourites of these quotes is #12, which at just 6 words is also the shortest. (I don’t think that’s a coincidence!)

As this set of tips for using quotes shows, short quotes often pack more punch than long ones:

(And I even use a 9-word quote of yours Garr to illustrate.)

By the way, if you want to send people a direct link to a SPECIFIC SLIDE on Slideshare, here’s how you can do it. That’s a great way to share your favourite quote, a stunning photo slide, etc:

  • The wonder of being teacher is to take out all best from children and learn them to be satisfied with their talents by accepting the diferent's between them.
We just need to follow them not make them following us :)
It is not easy, but it is possible !
