  • 3. How to do the Trick<br /><ul><li>Hold both hands out in front of you palms up
  • 4. Your left hand is #’s 1 through 5
  • 5. Thumb being 1 and pinky being 5
  • 6. Your right hand is #’s 6 through 10
  • 7. Pinky being 6 and thumb being 10</li></li></ul><li>How to do the Trickcontinued<br /><ul><li>The number you want to multiply by 9 is the number on your hands that you put down
  • 8. The fingers to the left of the finger you put down is the first number, # on the left
  • 9. The fingers to the right of the finger you put down is the second number, # on the right
  • 10. You do not count the finger you put down</li></li></ul><li>Now that you know how to do the trick lets get started multiplying by 9.<br />
  • 11. Hold Your Hands Up in Front of You.<br />
  • 12. 1 x 9<br />Put finger #1 down and count the fingers to the left and right.<br />
  • 13. So <br />1 x 9 <br />=<br />9<br />
  • 14. 2 x 9<br />Put finger #2 downand count the fingers to the left and right.<br />
  • 15. So<br />2 x 9<br />=<br />18<br />
  • 16. 3 x 9<br />Put finger #3 downand count the fingers to the left and right.<br />

  • 18. 4 x 9<br />Put finger #4 down and count the fingers to the left and right.<br />
