  15. 15. www.playbenefit.com @Play_Benefit @Lostnurse 2. The patient, the most underused resource in Healthcare ...and what does this have to do with gamification?
  16. 16. www.playbenefit.com @Play_Benefit @Lostnurse PATIENT IS DATA
  17. 17. www.playbenefit.com @Play_Benefit @Lostnurse PATIENT IS DATA To help the patient feel EMPOWERED, in charge of this OWN HEALTH, in a more PERSONALISED CARE.
  18. 18. www.playbenefit.com @Play_Benefit @Lostnurse 3. Case Studies
  19. 19. www.playbenefit.com @Play_Benefit @Lostnurse MySugr
  20. 20. www.playbenefit.com @Play_Benefit @Lostnurse DISCOVERY Clear Goal - Tame the monster Clear progression path - Insert data following a menu Feedback - When you insert data
  21. 21. www.playbenefit.com @Play_Benefit @Lostnurse CUSTOMISATION Personal Information: Type of insulin therapy, target range, Low and High thresholds. Works with your own data input Decision-making avaliable Search: you can search for a word and you get the information of how that item has impacted you (beer f.e.) How could we improve engagement? Adding your own difficulties and specifics situations you might encounter often in your life (monster can act a certain way when items consumed or have a special icon on the menu).
  22. 22. www.playbenefit.com @Play_Benefit @Lostnurse CHALLENGE The challenges change as you progress in the game. Some unlock after achieving others, some only become available once a week to ensure logging. You choose when and where to take a Challenge.
  23. 23. www.playbenefit.com @Play_Benefit @Lostnurse SOCIAL LINK Share Facebook and Twitter option. How could we improve engagement? Building a community with people that suffers the same condition can always help people to relate with others.
  24. 24. www.playbenefit.com @Play_Benefit @Lostnurse Zoombies Run
  25. 25. www.playbenefit.com @Play_Benefit @Lostnurse DISCOVERY Clear Goals - Getting supplies for your town Progression path through storytelling.
  26. 26. www.playbenefit.com @Play_Benefit @Lostnurse CUSTOMIZATION You choose your level- The user can walk or run. You can choose between a 30 minutes or 1 hour quest. You build your own survival town. How could we improve engagement? The amount of running data isn’t great on the app, you have to combine it with the website once you are into the running just as much as into the story.
  27. 27. www.playbenefit.com @Play_Benefit @Lostnurse CHALLENGE The app has some achievements related to quests. Running data achievements are left for the website. How could we improve it? A cooperation approach would be interesting in this app, so friends can contribute to the same town.
  28. 28. www.playbenefit.com @Play_Benefit @Lostnurse SOCIAL LINK You can share your runs in social networks. How could we improve engagement? Cooperation through town building with friends and family can improve not only the engagement to run but also the engagement with the app itself, as users log even if they haven’t run, just to see if others contributed.
  29. 29. www.playbenefit.com @Play_Benefit @Lostnurse SOCIAL LINK You can share your runs in social networks. How could we improve engagement? Cooperation through town building with friends and family can improve not only the engagement to run but also the engagement with the app itself, as users log even if they haven’t run, just to see if others contributed. Could be made to replace a negative habit by a positive one.
