  • Step 1: Specific and PositiveAre the goals positive? I hate travelling in bus every morning (Negative) I want to have a car (Positive)Are the goals specific? I want to have a car (Vague) I want to have a Honda Hybrid in three months (Specific)
  • Clean up the goals…Make them positive and specificWhere possible make them HUGG Huge, Unbelievably Great Goals
  • Pick the most important GoalThere are many ways to find the most important goal,for now, go with your gut feeling
  • Step 2: Create a new memory of the goal See what you would see, hear what you would hear and feel what you would feel when you have achieved the goal (Associated) Does this feel right for you? If not make the necessary changes to the goal, till you feel its right
  • Step 3: Check for ecologyMake memories with your loved ones after youachieved your goal, if needed please feel free tochanges the goal
  • Step 4: Make the goal appealing Change the brightness, location, tempo, pitch, feeling etc. to make the goal more appealing Step out of the memory and see yourself in the memory (Dissociated)
  • Step 5: Evidence criteriaHow will you know when you have reached your goal?
  • Step 6: Current resourcesWhere are you with this goal?Have you achieved a similar or same goal before?Do you know someone who has achieved the goal?What are the resources you already have to achievethe goal?
  • Step 7: Resources neededWhat else do you need to achieve this goal?
  • Step 8: Break it downBreak down the goal to doable sub goalsRemember, there is more than one way to skin a cat
  • Step 9: Action!
