  3. 3. Important moments in history <ul><li>Sept 16, 1810 -Mexico wins independence from Spain. March 6, 1836, Battle of the Alamo. Mexico briefly defeats the Texan forces May 5, 1862, Battle of Puebla October 2, 1968- Tlatelolco Massacre. Similar to Ohio's Kent State, may students murdered in Mexico City by Mexican troops Sept 19,1985- Devastating earthquake in Mexico City </li></ul>
  4. 4. SPORTS <ul><li>Sport in Mexico are sporting activities of Mexico. Football is the most popular sport in Mexico( Not American football!!) Boxing is the second biggest sport in Mexico. Baseball, basketball, golf wrestling bullfighting and charrería are also appreciated. </li></ul>
