      In candidate’s homepage, click on “Check for References”
    • Checking references
      Review contacts who you know, that know the candidate
    • Checking References
      Check to see where you know the reference from i.e. company, group, association
    • Checking References
      Click on candidate’s reference and send them an inquiry. Check to make sure they are open to giving a reference

      Send LI request for reference to your contact; ask for specific information

      Ask to verify specific accomplishments on their resume

      Ask for how they accomplished a goal and what role they played in the project

      Ask for verification of years both worked together and verify the candidate’s title

      Ask each specific questions on roles, interpersonal skills, motivators, and stressors
