    1. TWITTER Twitter is a social networking website where users post what they are doing at any given moment with the help of very small sized text (up to 140 characters) called “tweets”. It may also be called as SMS of the internet and comes under microblogging. The best part is that there are many interfaces for the user to stay connected like desktop apps, mobile apps, web apps etc. Some of the apps are: DESKTOP APPS TWEETDECK TweetDeck is an Adobe Air desktop application for Twitter. TWITTERRIFIC Twitter application for MAC and IPHONE. TWHIRL It is a social software desktop client, based on the Adobe AIR platform. SPAZ Spaz is an open source Adobe AIR desktop application which means that users can customize it according to their needs. DIGSBY Digsby is a multiprotocol IM client that lets you chat with all your friends on AIM, MSN, Yahoo, ICQ, Google Talk, Jabber; notifies of emails in Gmail, yahoo, msn; and a social networking tool supporting twitter, facebook, linkedin. BLOGO Blogo is a desktop application for MAC used for publishing and maintaining your blog right from your desktop and also spreads the word through twitter and ping.fm. WEB APPS OPERA WIDGET A Twitter widget for Opera browser and other browsers supporting opera widgets. TWITTER GADGET A google gadget to read and update twitter. WIDGETS Lets visitors on your blog or profile page on the web know what you're up to at the moment. Displays your latest updates there with a customized widget (aka, "badge"). Available for facebook, myspace, blogger, etc. Uses Flash. MOBILE APPS POCKET TWEETS PocketTweets is a Web-based Twitter client for the Apple iPhone. Works via EDGE or WiFi. WIDSETS Twitter app for mobile which doesn’t require to send a sms. All it needs is java enabled phone and access to internet.
