Responsibilities
• Of the consortium leader organisation (UM)
– To provide appropriate support for financial and administrative coordination
– To provide regular information to consortium partners
– To provide scientific senior advisory role
– To work in cooperation with co-lead organisation on reporting tasks
• Of the co-lead organisation (RAND Europe)
– To ensure management of the project and general direction
– To ensure coordination between partners and tasks
– Provide scientific direction
• Of consortium partners
– Work package leads to manage the partner that they are involved with in the delivery of the task
– Consortium partners to deliver on time
– Consortium partners to provide feedback on documents issued by others
– Consortium partners to decide consensually about direction of the project
– It is the responsibility of each partner and WP leads to manage tasks within their own team
• Delivery failure implies that
– Consortium leads will retain a penalty because they have to complete these materials
– A second instalment cannot be provided to the consortium!

• Are there examples of ‘best practices’ which would be worth singling
out?

• Which are the institutional structures and mechanisms that seem to
