Our Version (PNW)<br />The Oregon Polypore (Ganodermaoregonense) grows on conifers in western United States, from California to Washington.  It is closely related toReishi(Ganodermalucidum).<br />Oregon Polypore (Ganodermaoregonense) differs from Reishi in that it prefers cooler temperatures (approximately 10° F less), is larger (up to 1 m wide), and grows on conifers (hemlock, fir, spruce).<br />
