Alternative FuelsEngine in which the combustion of a fuel (normally a fossil fuel) occurswith an oxidizer (usually air) in a combustion chamber that is an integralpart of the working fluid flow circuit. Variable Valve Timing with intelligenceThe shaft spins just like a regularcamshaft -- but by gradually sliding thecamshaft laterally as the engine speedand load increase, the valve timing canbe optimized. There are many ways inwhich this can be achieved, ranging frommechanical devices to electro-hydraulicand camless system

This Piston have a widepressure range, can reach high pressures and thepressure can be controlled without an impact onthe rate of flow it assists in creating airturbulence, which mixes the fuel with air duringthe last part of compression in diesel engines.
  10. 10. VARIABLE COMPRESSION RATIOEccentric crankshaft engine: The motor provides adjustment in 0.1s for decreasing compression ratio and 0.5s for increasing ratio.The Saab Variable Compression : optimum compression ratio of 14:1 The compression ratio can be lowered to 8:1 at high load.
